Mommy had a surprise for Ayden and Alex. We wondered what it could be. I hoped it was a baby puppy. We were very excited! Mom said, clue 1, " it will not fit inside this box."

We gathered our stuff and got into the car. We didn't stop asking about the surprise, so she gave us another clue. Clue 2: It is muddy there, even when the sun is out.

Both boys thought what is muddy even when it is sunny. Ayden guessed a day at the beach making sandcastles. Mom said, "keep on guessing!" Here's another clue...

Another clue was, "it wears a furry coat that's very soft." Ayden and Alex wondered why the surprise would be their mom's furry coat? Alex thought it was mom's kitten with a furry coat.

When we finally got to the house, a man waved at my mom. My mom knew him from the hospital, they were both doctors. Alex was excited, because he realized that he would soon find out what the surprise would be.
