After Mom and Dad got married, they both prayed for a baby.

    Mom wished for a baby girl because she never had a sister. And, dad prayed for Mom's wish to come true.

    Three months later, something weird happened. Mom started to feel queasy and a lot more sleepy.

    Mom and Dad went to the doctor to find out what's wrong with her.

    After a minute or two, the doctor exclaimed, "You are four weeks pregnant!"

    Oh how happy they were!

    A month after that, Mom and Dad went to the doctor for Mom's regular checkup. They couldn't wait to hear the sound of their baby's heartbeat.

    But after some time, the doctor looked at Mom and Dad. And in a soft voice, she gently said, "I am so sorry, but there seems to be a problem. I cannot see nor hear the baby's heartbeat."

    Tears began to roll down Mom's cheeks. She couldn't stop crying, and she couldn't even breathe. Dad....well, he did not cry that time. He just made sure that Mom was fine.
