Once upon a time a super hero and a
super villain both moved to Phoenix.
They both wanted to live there, but
they were always fighting, so there
was only room for one of them.

The super villain thought she should
live there because villains are better,
but the super hero thought that heroes
are better, so he should live there.

Then they decided to share the city:
the villain could live in one half, and
the hero could live in the other half.

Sadly, their plan wasn't working.
The villain and the super hero kept
accidentally going to the other part
of town. Also, the villain's half of
the city was a bad place, all the
people were moving to the super
hero's side of the city.

But the super hero and super villain didn't move
to Phoenix just so they could live there, Phoenix
had many resources, like grocery stores,
shopping centers, and gas stations like this.
These places made the supers rich.

It was a challenge to keep the balance of power in
Phoenix. The police and government were in charge
of the people before the supers came, but now the
super villain wanted everyone to listen to her.
Everyone ended up listening to the superhero.
Supers were always in charge where ever they went.

The supers told everyone that they were
the best because of their powers, and
almost everyone believed them.

Many years ago, other super heroes and villains moved

to Phoenix as well, but they could only live in the

suburbs because it was too much of a challenge to get

down town. Thanks to technology like cars, trains, and

new flying powers, these supers could easily get to all of

Phoenix. Shortly, the super hero king, who lived in

Berlin, made rules for supers living in places like

Phoenix.

One day, the super hero and super villain

heard on the news that they weren't the only

supers that had decided to live in cities.

Super heroes and villains from England

were moving all around the globe, to cities

in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South

Africa, and India.

Supers from France were

moving to Algeria and Western

Africa. Some very strong French

super villains took over

Indochina.

On the other hand, German supers did not

feel like leaving Germany. They were happy

there. Eventually, they decided to move to a

city because it was what all the "cool" supers

were doing at the time.

Peer pressure...

In some cities, there were no super heroes

living there. There were only super villains.

This often started wars because the people

didn't like having to listen to the evil

villains. However, the cities with kind

heroes were always peaceful.
