This is dedicated to my
Great Aunt Phyllis
and Great Grandma Dot, who passed away two years ago.

Chapter1
Early Life/Childhood:
On Thursday, July 28, 1949, in Baltimore, Maryland, Phyllis Anne Huber was born. She was the first child born to her parents, Charles and Dorothy Huber. Her father, Charles Huber Jr., was a HVAC Mechanic and a veteran and her mother was a home maker. Eventually, Phyllis would have a brother, Charles Huber III, who went by "Chuck."

At age five, Phyllis went to Howard Park Elementary School. She went there to learn the basic things but wanted to be a television journalist. She was a big fan of baseball and had a crush on Jim Palmer, a pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles.

Phyllis had a great family life, too. She loved hopscotch, but every time it rained, the chalk would wash away. So one day when she came home her had dad painted a hopscotch grid the side walk so it wouldn't wash away ever again. It is still there to this day.

Chapter 2:
Work Life
Phyllis' first job was as a baby sitter. Then she started working for a United States Senator: Barbara Mikulski. This was a very exciting opportunity for her!

Part of Phyllis' job was interviewing candidates that wanted to attend the U.S. Military Academies, where they could get a free education.

She also got married in 1992. Phyllis married Michael Panopoulos. The couple was married in Towson, Maryland. Phyllis and Michael still have a piece of the deck where they first said "I Love you" to each other. They are still married to this day.
Phyllis went around the world as she worked for an international law firm. She worked as an Office Manager. One of the lawyers, John Roberts, was a Supreme Court Justice.
She also worked as the Assistant to Baltimore County Executive (like a mayor), Jim Smith. After that, she worked in court. Finally, she worked in Economic Development in her home town of Baltimore, Maryland.
Chapter 3:
Retirement
At age sixty-eight, Phyllis retired and lived in her happy house up in Towson. She enjoys cooking and knitting. Phyllis also enjoys her family's visits to her at least once a year.
Phyllis loves to volunteer! Once a week, she goes and volunteers at a local historical site, and also, for a group that help get women elected into office.
