I dedicate this book to my second-grade teacher, Ms. Rivera, and my parents.
I would like to thank my mom for helping me make this book and my dad for his support.

About the Author
Luis just turned 8 years old this year. He is currently in second grade and is being home schooled until the end of the school year due to the pandemic.
He still enjoys playing video games, watching YouTube, and Zooming with his class. He loves to ride his bike and couldn't wait to ride it around the neighborhood and parks.

About the Book
This book is more interactive and allows you to be imaginative and creative. It would allow you to draw your own characters, create your own snowman, and sled.

Cat Loaf wanted to play with his friends. He went outside and he saw a lot of snow!!!
So he went back in to get his coat.
When he got his coat, he saw his friend Doggy.
Doggy was making a snowman. Cat Loaf helped him make the snowman’s nose. When they finished, they had a BIG snowball fight. They threw a lot of snowballs at each other.

Now take your markers out and draw
Cat Loaf's friend, Doggy, making a snowman. Will your version of Doggy be a dog or a cat?

Cat Loaf and Doggy made a snow chair. Once they were done, they both took a break on the snow chair.
Cat loaf’s mom gave them hot cocoa for lunch. After lunch, Doggy needed to go home. Cat loaf went inside so he can take a nap.

How do you like your cocoa? Cat Loaf like his hot and chocolate-flavored. Take your markers out and draw yourself
enjoying your favorite drink.
How do you want your chocolate drink?
Size: Small, Medium, Large
Hot or Iced?
Sprinkles? Whipped Cream? Or both?
Mini Marshmallows?
Extra Chocolatey? Or Peppermint?

Cat loaf is half cat and half loaf of bread.
Both of his arms and legs are made out of butter. His head is a loaf of bread while his body is a regular cat’s body. The color of his body is striped orange.
Cat Loaf is never mean to other animals, he is always nice.

Now take your markers out and draw your own version of Cat Loaf.

One day Cat loaf fell off his sled. When he got off, his knees hurt. It was because he accidentally scraped his knees on the wooden part of the sled.
He went to his bed and he put ice on his knees so it can rest. He learned to not be near slippery ice and be
careful while riding the sled.

Cat Loaf decorated the front of his sled with a green holiday wreath, a red bow, and bells. You know the drill, take out your markers and draw a sled and decorate.
