Far, far away on the continent of Africa, lived three brothers: Little Cheetah Swift, Middle Cheetah Swift and Big Cheetah Swift.

They looked across the river and saw a herd of gazelles to chase and eat.

But to get to the gazelles, they had to cross a bridge.

In the middle of the bridge was a lazy, lying lion.

The Three Cheetah Swifts came up with a plan.

Little Cheetah Swift started to walk across the bridge.

When the lazy, lying lion heard the footsteps he roared,

"Who's that walking across my bridge?"

Little Cheetah Swift said, "It is I. Little Cheetah Swift. Please don't fight me. I'm too little. My brother is coming and he is bigger and stronger than me. It will be a better fight for you."

The lazy, lying lion said, "Hurry up and cross!"

So Little Cheetah Swift jumped over the lazy, lying lion and crossed to the other side and hid behind a tree.

Middle Cheetah Swift started to walk across the bridge. When the lazy, lying lion heard the footsteps he roared, "Who's that walking across my bridge?!"

Middle Cheetah Swift said, "It is I. Middle Cheetah Swift. Please don't fight me. My big brother is coming and he is much bigger and stronger than me. It will be a better fight for you."

The lazy, lying lion said, "Hurry up and cross!"
