One day, when Cassy was walking across the meadow, she tripped over something and landed hard on her face, the air knocked out of her lungs and prickly grass tickling her face.

OWWWWWWWWWWWW
Cassy wearily sat up from her fall and looked around to find what had tripped her. Then, she saw it! There was something poking out of the ground next to her shoe! It looked like it was buried deep in the ground. She started digging with her own two hands. Cassy was determined to discover what it was!

Hmm...
She dug and she dug for hours until she finally reached her goal. The object that had tripped her looked very old and dirty. It looked like- like- like a....BOOK! "Woah.", Cassy whispered in awe. The pages were yellowing and had small rips on the edges. When Cassy looked closer, she could see words! No- not words, handwriting! Cassy had just found an old diary!

OH MY GOSH!!
Cassy flipped to the very first page to see if the person had written a date. With her luck, the person had! "November 5 1853", Cassy read. Then it hit her. This very diary she was holding was over 100 years old!

Woah....
Cassy started reading the diary aloud when suddenly the pages started glowing!! In fright, Cassy dropped the book on the grass and screamed. Very slowly, words flew out of the book to form a small poem in front of her...
" If a wish may excite thee"
"Just ask, and it will come you see"
But I warn you, oh lonely one"
"That only 3 wishes shall come"
"Ask for more or ask for less"
"You shall not live nor shall you rest"

AAAAAH!
This excited Cassy very much. She was too busy thinking of all her wishes that she did not read the last four sentences of the poem! The message slowly vanished in golden specks of glitter and fell back into the book. Cassy confidently put her hands on her waist and said, "I'm ready to make my first wish."

The book started glowing again and the following words appeared:
"Shout out the wish thy wants"
And watch in glory as it enchants"
"But remember my warning,-"
"Yeah, yeah whatever, anyways my first wish is to be the most beautiful girl in town!", Cassy said arrogantly.
In a flash, Cassy turned into a princess! Well at least she looked like one!

Wow!
Then, Cassy got an idea for her second wish! "I'm ready to make my second wish!", Cassy said. Once again, the book started glowing and the same words appeared:
"Shout out the wish thy wants"
And watch in glory as it enchants"
"But remember,-"
"I KNOW I KNOW! Well for my second wish I want to be the richest person in the country!", Cassy shouted.
There was a swirl of golden light and gold coins and bars appeared next to her!

Cool!
Cassy then decided it was time for her third wish. "I want to make my third wish!", she said.
"Shout out the wish thy wants"
And watch in glory as it enchants"
"BUT REMEM-"
"Jeez can you please like, shut up. I'm trying to think here!", annoyed Cassy said. "For my third wish I want a big palace."
There was a loud boom and a flash and suddenly there was a towering palace behind her!
