To my art teacher, Ms. Cables, For being the best teacher ever.

It started in a town of black and white.
Nothing was happy or lite.
Nobody smiled or waved hello.
Nothing really was on the go.

But one girl was different from the rest.
And she did her vary best.
She would wear bight clothes,
and smile and wave.
She was bright and happy.

Her mom was mad,
but the poor girl was sad.
that the world is dark and gray

It took some quick thinging,
but just like blinking,
The girl thought up a plan.

The next day,
she looked a bit more gray.
due to the old clothes.

She put a paper way up high,
on a building that touched the sky.
with the paint that she had brought,
she made a line and up it brought,
a sign of happy feelings.

Then something happened,
some thing bright,
something lite.
A girl grabs a brush and paints.

Soon there was color.
In every building, every hall.
Color upon color on every wall.
