To inform children the story about the biblical figures, Adam and Eve. Also, to teach them to never disobey God and to always have faith in God.

God planted a gorgeous garden, the Garden of Eden. It had a lot of beautiful trees with delicious fruit. It had included everything a person would need to eat. In the middle of the garden were the "tree of life" and the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil."

Soon, God noticed that he would need someone to take care of the beautiful Garden of Eden. God created a person named Adam and put him within the Garden of Eden to work and look out for it.

Adam was the first man that God created, and he was very special. God commanded Adam, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." (NIV, Genesis 2:15-17).

God realized that Adam was alone and that he would need someone to help work and look after his beautiful Garden of Eden. So, God put Adam into a deep, deep sleep and took one of his two ribs in order to form a woman to be Adam's wife. Adam named her "Eve".

God created the most tricky and deceiving animal, the serpent. The serpent slithered over to Eve and said, "Wow! There are many fruits in the garden and God says you must not eat any? "Well of course we can eat it," Eve replied. "God has only told us that we are not to eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We are not allowed to eat it or even touch it, or we will die."

"That's a big lie!" said the serpent. "You wouldn't die! I know very well that when you eat the fruit you will know good from evil. God is afraid that when you eat it you will gain the power and become just like him".
