Frida Kahlo got an accident, when she was young, so she was forced to stay in bed a lot of time.

When she was on bed or in her bedroom she got the inspiration to start painting.

Now she is recognized like one of the most popular Mexican painters.

Her paints are unique and

inspiring for other people who

likes to paint.

She was born on July 6, 1907 in

Coyoacan, Mexico City, Mexico.

She died on July 13, 1954 in

Coyoacan, Mexico City, Mexico.

Childhood

When Frida was a little one she like a lot the photography, and better if she was the model in the photo.

Frida has a friend, Isabel, they were the best friends. They like to went to the roads of Coayacan in bicycle and always

they like to went to swim to the

Churrubusco river.

Education

Frida likes the painting even in an early age. One of the father's friend of she, give her drawing instructions and some advices of painting. But at that time she didn't consider

art like a career.

After she began to work outside

of the school to help her family.

Family

Her parents were Guillermo Kahlo and Matilde Calderon. She have two sisters, their names were Cristina and Adriana.

Her father was a photographer. From there the fascinating feeling Kahlo felt of being photographed.

Usually Kahlo told that her

childhood house was "very sad",

because her parents were

always sick.
