Coming into this class, I never knew that technology played such an important role in the classroom. I thought that the classroom environment revolved mostly around textbooks and written information.

I quickly learned that education and technology go hand in hand.

When we first started the Google Productivity section, I was shocked at how many tools Google really had. I had only used Google to look up information, I never realized there were so many other tools available.

These tools will definitely be beneficial to my future classroom whether it be making a document, preparing a test, or even adding to my professional portfolio.

For the digital organization tool, I used Pinterest to organize my information. I always thought of Pinterest as a place to keep all my recipes and crafty ideas, I never thought about using it in my classroom.

This activity showed me that I can use tools like Pinterest to collect all sorts of information that I can share with my students. I can use it to save project ideas, save links to educational videos, and even save various resources.

Before doing the digital citizenship and cyberbullying assignment, I didn't really know how I would approach these topics in my classroom.

The E-volve game and digital citizenship license site helped to show me technological resources that I can use in my classroom. This way I can teach my students about online safety and respect.

Before this class I had no idea the amount of useful tools available to me.

Using the infographics, concept maps, and visual storybook, I learned that there are so many more interactive tools available to me. I can't wait to use these to create lessons, reviews, and fun for my students.

Before, I knew I would probably use videos/audio in my classroom, but I never thought I'd create them myself.
