Chapter One: The Chase
"Where did he go?" Micheal must have left as Carol, Jack and Dennis were putting out the fire he started on the barn. Carol and Dennis were still getting use to doing magic, as they were chasing their father, an evil wizard, with their new friend, Jack.
"I don't know." Carol replied with a sigh. "This new 'being a wizard and saving the world' thing is way harder than I thought it would be."
"It was hard for me at first too, learning all the spells, potions, wizards, evil wizards, important people and places..." Jack stopped and grinned when he saw his new friends staring in shock. "It's not that bad, I
promise!"
"Uh-huh." Dennis sounded unconvinced as he scanned the horizon for Micheal.
"It's becoming light, your dad is probably hiding." Jack stated.
"Then we must start looking!" Carol cried out. The friends started flying forward, looking anywhere they thought a 40 year old, evil wizard could hide.
.......
"Hey guys, I think I found something!" Jack yelled for the others, "Is this your dad's?" The siblings came over and looked at the note in his hand.
"That's definitely his handwriting!" They all cheered.
"What does it say?" Carol asked.
"'I'm hiding, yes that is true. But, I can hear you!'" Jack read.
"So, he's hiding over here." Dennis said.
"Not necessarily, he could have heard us talking earlier and left a while after he set it down"
"That's true. Where would he go though?"
"To the town hall."
"Why would he go there?"
"He's a construction worker, and they're renovating it. He has to call in sick to skip it, but I don't think he would have done that."
"Okay, let's go then!" The teenagers left to town hall.
"Uh, Jack?" Carol asked.
"Yes?" He asked.
"Why is everyone staring at us?"
Dennis cut into the conversation, "They haven't seen wizards in town for seventy-some years! I'd be staring too!" They reached town square and landed as almost everyone in town started running towards them, yelling out questions. They all suddenly ran into something and cried out in pain.
"Dennis." Carol warned.
"What? I had to keep them away! And anyways, that was hilarious!" He chuckled. Carol and Jack rolled their eyes.
Jack pointed to Micheal, "That's him!" The teenagers ran over to him. The wizard saw them coming, talked to his boss and ran right past them to the port-a-potty.
"I guess he needs a restroom break before we arrest him?" Dennis asked.
"No! There's a spell that allows you to teleport somewhere... through a toilet." Jack said shaking his head, "I'd like to meet the creator of that one, and ask him what he was thinking. Anyways, the portal closes after five minutes, we must hurry!" They all ran to the port-a-potty and tried to open it.
"It's locked!" Carol grunted as she tried to pull it open. Jack muttered a spell and it opened up. "Oh."
Chapter Two: Ecaped
They entered a room. In the corner was a lamp, lighting up the space. Jack walked over there as the siblings wandered around the rest of the room.
"Oh no..." Jack breathed.
"What?" Dennis and Carol walked over to the lamp, where Jack was. The lamp that was glowing turned out to be a genie lamp. It seemed like it was growing bigger and bigger.
"What's happening?" Carol asked, concerned.
"There used to be an evil wizard named Vanessa Bre Lacree. She was born hundreds of years ago. She, for some reason, is immortal so the good wizards trapped
her in a genie lamp. They say that only the most evil wizard can let her out. I think that's her!" Suddenly the door out became locked.
"We fell into Micheal's trap! He wanted us to follow him, only to be destroyed by her!" Dennis had figured out the trick before the other two.
"We got to convince her that we were the ones who let her out!" Carol explained.
"Oh sweetie, I already know who let me out." A dark figure came out of the now gigantic lamp. Three pairs of eyes all widened.
"What are we going to do!" They said in unison.
Chapter Three: No Study Time
The teenagers ran to the opposite corner.
"We have to put her back in the lamp!" Carol whispered. Dennis and Jack nodded. "We also need a plan." Again, they nodded. Vanessa started walking towards them.
"So... what should I do with you three? Trap you in the lamp? Turn you into frogs? I need to think, stay there." As soon as she said that, there was a cage surrounding the friends, she turned around to think.
"I'm sorry I wasn't able to teach you spells, but there's no time. I don't think she knows we can do magic. So, just try to do what you can secretly!"
