Mizu awakened. As she tried to sit up, she hit her head on the top bunk of her bed. Mizu got out of bed. She had light gray skin, green hair, long elfish ears, and had an antenna with a light at the end, just like an angler fish, so she could see in the water, and attract Skatu shrimp, her favorite food. The house she lived in was big, and was right next to lake Diminu. She lived in the kingdom Known as Trevinor. The queen was Mitzu's mother, Queen Avidal. Mizu could smell fresh bacon as she walked down stairs. Her five siblings were already at the table. She had four sisters: Harley, Abigale, Crystal, and Kimuri. She had one brother: Scortch. Mizu sat at the table.

"Good morning, dear." Said Avidal. "You had a rather strange dream last night." "How do you know that?" asked Mizu. "I'm the queen." Said Avidal, smiling. Mizu's ears drooped. She didn't want to talk about her dream, but she knew that her mother would ask about it, even though she knew what it was about. "So, what was it about?" asked Avidal. "Can I tell you later?" asked Mizu. "I suppose." Answered Avidal. "Now get to training. You don't want to be late on your first day!" It was Mizu's first day of Kokoro training. A Kokoro is the same creature that Mizu is. She grabbed her sword and headed to training. When she arrived, she was shocked to know that she was the only girl there.

"THIS is the new student?" One of them said. "I bet she can't even hold a sword!" Another one of them said. "Alright, class." Said the instructor. "I will be choosing your dueling partners. Arian with Heanix, Mizu with Broni, Xavier with Bruno..." When the instructor finished speaking, it was time to duel. Mizu and Broni went first. Mizu struck. The sword flew out of her hands. She tripped and fell. She tried to get up, but Broni held her down. Then, he grabbed her by the arm, and threw her into the lake! Mizu could hear laughter behind her. Even the instructor was laughing! She swam under the water. She didn't come back up. Not even for lunch. She ate Skatu shrimp and Maho Moss. She swam home.

When she got there, Avidal was in the front yard. "You're home early" she said. "I... I just didn't like Kokoro training." Said Mizu. Then she stormed up to her room. The next day, she didn't come downstairs for breakfast. Instead, she climbed up on to the roof. She got a view of Lake Diminu. It was beautiful. Mizu stared at the lake for fifteen minutes. Then, she realized that nobody came looking for her. She looked down. The house was on fire! Mizu was surrounded by flames. She thought she was gonna be burnt, but then she woke up. It was all just a dream. She walked downstairs. Avidal was quizzing the other kids with a history lesson. "And how did Goddo slay Yume?" "With the sword of Hewa sword!"

Yelled Scorch. "No, with the power of Maho!" Corrected Harly. "He sacrificed him self." Said Mizu. "Correct, Mizu!" Said Avidal. "Sometimes sacrifices must be made to save who you love. It might not be easy, but it's right." Avidal was correct. Sacrifices are made every day. "Oh, and Mizu?" Said Avidal. "I have a surprise for you. "What is it?" asked Mizu. Suddenly, She started glowing. Yellow sparks came out of the ground. The other kids had to cover there eyes. When the glowing stopped, Mizu said "I feel the same." "But you're not." Said Avidal.
