This is Matthew, Piper and Priya. They came to Shaunavon, Sask with their Mom, Jessica and Auntie Sarah to visit their Beppe, Grandpa and Great Beppe in the summer.

Each one brought their favorite stuffy with them. After all it was a very long drive...TWO DAYS. They would need their friends to help keep them company in the hotel room.

Matthew brought Riley, the monkey.

Piper brought Sheepy and Big Sheepy (you guessed it) the sheep.

Priya brought Bananas, also a monkey. 

This is the story of the adventures of Bananas.

Riley, Sheepy and Big Sheepy were right where they should be, on Piper's and Matthew's beds 

BUT NO BANANAS!!

Everyone looked and looked, but Banana's was no where to be found.

The next morning Pryia was sad but Beppe promised she would find Bananas and get him home, and so, they all started their trip home to see Dad and their friends again.

It was the night before everyone left to go home to Prince Rupert. All the packing was done. But wait...……

        OH NO! WHERE WAS BANANAS?

Beppe began to clean her house and when she lifted up Scooper's bed...THERE WAS BANANAS. 

He was hiding and didn't know Priya had to leave him behind. He was sad but Beppe told him he would have some fun before going home. That made him happy.

Since Bananas WAS a monkey, Beppe thought he would like a swing on the clothesline. For once it wasn't full of clothes and towels.

Beppe asked Bananas to help her in the garden just like Pryia did. He was happy to help. 

His favorite flowers were the Pansies. Do you know why?

They were the SAME colour as he was. Bananas thought that was so AWESOME. He just loved yellow.

Bananas did such a good job taking old flowers off so new ones could grow.

Beppe said it was almost time for supper but Bananas had one more thing he wanted to do before going inside. Since he WAS a monkey, he thought he should try climbing a tree. He had never done that before. He walked over to a very tall tree...………..and started to climb. It was hard but he climbed and climbed.

He was proud of himself.

Since Bananas was already outside he decided to visit his new friend Hedgie the Hedgehog. Hedgie didn't get many visitors so he was really happy to have  Bananas sit with him for awhile.

                                                     was a good listener. He told 

                                                     Bananas to come and visit anytime 

                                                     he wanted.

For supper, guess what he had? Remember he WAS a monkey. Of course, he had not one, not two but THREE bananas. Now he was full and a little tired. He needed a nap. So he curled up with Grandpa and did just that. He had a wonderful nap.

After his nap he had to go pee. Oh dear. The toilet was SO big. Bananas thought he might fall in. But he didn't, whew!

The next day was another full day of adventures. He got his very own popsicle. Before, he could only watch Matthew, Piper and Priya have lots and lots of popsicles. He would wonder what they tasted like.

Grandpa said he needed to eat it outside as they could get messy. He brought Bananas outside and sat him in a chair with a popsicle. Bananas tried to open it but realized he needed help and asked Grandpa. THAT POPSICLE WAS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS HE HAD EVER EATEN. SO COLD AND GOOD.

Oh goodness, Beppe said she needed more help with the flowers. She sat Bananas down in the wagon and he began to take the old flowers off. So many of them. Bananas didn't especially like doing it again but he wanted to be a good monkey, so he did. ..AND SMILED TOO.
