This story is loosely based on real events. As a kid, my sister and I would chase after butterflies in the field behind our house. There was an old road in the hydro field that was covered with broken glass hence the name 'The Glassy Road.' It was a shortcut to the local convenience store run by a cranky older lady. There was also a crazy rumor about a witch that may have lived in the bushes on The Glassy Road. Was there really a witch lurking in the field? Read this story and find out.

"THE GLASSY ROAD"

Eliza and Cameron are spending Friday night at Uncle Tatum's house. He begins to tell the kids a scary story about the legend of the witch that lived on the glassy road. Back in the 1980s, Tatum, his sister, and their friend Rowan went in search of the witch. Was it just a legend or did she really exist?
