Chapter One

    Hello new diary, so my name is Celestine Rodreguiz. And diary you are going to tell the story of the moonlight wolves, since I filled the other one up. It all started when Thunder went missing.......

.................................................................................................................................................    "Bad news guys," said Rachel as me and Jamie sat next to her on her bed, "Thunders gone missing. It can only mean somethings gone wrong in Fantasy City." We nodded in agreement.

    "Maybe I can call them back?" I said "Ya know since I am Moonlight."

    "Maybe," said Jamie "But it has been three months since anything has gone wrong and we should contact Kyle or something." Rachel nodded.

    "I agree with Jamie," said Rachel "It is way safer."

    "Fine, oh fine" I said "but how do we get there?" We were all stumped. The way we had gotton there last time was on a cloud.

    "Umm," said Rachel "This may sound silly but should I ya know just ask?"

    "Sure," I said "it's not like we have a better idea."

    "Uhhh," said Rachel "Great ancestors of the stars, may I call on your wisdom to get to Fantasy City." We waited in awkward silence. Then a scroll apeared. It said "Do you, Rachel, Starlight Council Member of Fantasy City wish to go to Fantasy City? Please sign here to answer________. Thank You, and Bye."

    Rachel got a pen and wrote her name in the space provided. Then new words appeared on the paper, "This is a Portal, please be ready to depart to Fantasy City in 10...........9.............8..............7.........................6.................."Grab the paper!" shouted Rachel. We grabbed on to the paper and a strong wind whipped all around us sending papers flying of Rachel's desk.

"3.....................2....................................1....................................Now Departing, Please hold on to your Hats, Hooves, Wings, and of coarse Wands." We spun round and round and round and then everything went black.

    "When will they come round Crystal' said a small voice.

    "Soon, Delilah." said a bored voice, wait was that the princess. It was.

    "Oh, we made it." I said sitting up "So you again" I said to the princess "Your name is Crystal, oh and your Delilah." Delilah was around Jamies age maybe 8 or 9. She was nothing like her sister Crystal.

    "Yeah," she said "and I am going to help you on our quest." Crystal frowned.

    "No," she said "You are going to take her to mom. She's in the throne room. Delilah still smiled and skipped away. Noticing Crystals glare I ran after her. 

    "Here we ar-" then Delilah saw Jamie. "A kid my age!" she sqealed.

    "Stop," said the queen to Delilah "you are done now go to your room." Delilah sighed and started to walk away. 

    "Hey," I said "That is not nice, she was just excited there was another kid." The queen looked confused, but she quickly regained her composure.

    "So you want her to come with you is that what you are saying?" she said.

    "No, I was just say-" but the queen seemed to have made her decision.

    "Delilah will go with you on your quest to find the moonlight wolves." she said "Remember your powers and also here is a bag of food water and a tent. I hope you will be successfull on your journey."

    I wanted to scream but Rachel gave me a warning look. "Thank you my queen." said Rachel taking the purse the queen handed her "but how can this hold so much?"

    "Just a simple spell. said the queen "Now of you go." We left with Delilah skipping beside Jamie.

Chapter Two

    "So," said Rachel, we were standing on a hill over looking Fantasy City. Jamie was talking to Delilah excitedly. Delilah like her mom and sister, had shockingly blue eyes and long blonde hair. Of course her personality was very excited and jumpy especially when Jamie tryed calling on birds for fun. Rachel continued "the three-spear mountains are to the east, the Icy waters of Icelanctia to the north, the swampy jungles of fwampshy to the west and Fantasy City to the South. Which way?" I took in all the information and nodded.

    "The icy waters," I said. Rachel nodded.

    "It seems like the place to go," she said "considering that the Moonlight Wolves are there strongest near water with a full moon." I nodded.

    "Jamie, Delilah!" I shouted "Come on you guys, we decided which way to go!" Jamie and Delilah ran after us as we walked North toward the Icy Waters of Icelanctia. We walked for a while to the North. We probably could have cleared the thirty miles to Icelanctia, we only made it seventeen miles since Jamie and Delilah took so many detors. As it was getting dark a cold wind blew through. It was so cold I guessed we were getting pretty close to Icelanctia. We set up camp, ate some potatoes and steak and were of to bed. Me and Rachel took a tent and Jamie and Delilah took the other.

    "Night," I said to Rachel. "nice we don't have a deadline, right." 

    "Yeah, real nice" she replied "Night Celestine." I turned over and fell asleep.

    "Get up, Celestine." whispered Rachel. "Lets make breakfast before the kids wake up. I groaned.

    "Whyyy." I said. Rachel glared and I got up and tried to restart the campfire as it was still slightly dark. After a few times I gave up.

    Rachel came over and sat down next to me. "I can do it." she said as she lit it. The fire roared again. "The Fantasy queen," she continued "she did'nt seem herself. She made desicions like she was possessed. I shrugged.

    "We can't struggle to understand that right now," I said "We have to find Thunder." Rachel nodded and turned back to the fire. She pulled out some bacon and eggs. Then realizing she didn't have a pan sighed.

    "Welp," she said "Oh ancestors of the stars may I have a frying pan." she said it sarcastically but to our dismay a pan appeared. Then words appeared on the pan. "3 times a dau only, Use your wishes wisley...." "Great another restriction!" screeched Rachel, but she still took the pan and and started on the eggs. I packed up our tent and all the stuf we did'nt need so we were good to go. Just as Rachel finished making the bacon Jamie climbed out of his tent. 

    "Wasferbreakfast." he said sleepily. 

    "Bacon and eggs." said Rachel. Jamie sat down on the ground and started eating so did me and Rachel. It was good.

    "Where's Delilah?" I said shoveling down food so we could get going soon.

    "She'll be out soon." said Jamie. When were done. I started to get worried.

    "I'll go see what she is up to." said Rachel. She walked into the tent. I sat down again. It was already 8:00 and it was a mirac-aahhhhh! A giant towered over me. It had blue skin and breathed FROST! Jamie was startled as much as me. And it seemed as Rachel had not noticed anything. 

    "Jamie, do your animal thingy." Jamie closed his eyes trying to call on a animal. The giant was super close. Then birds flew around and around the giants head pecking everywhere. The giant lumbered forward yelling. Rachel and Delilah still had not come out. Just as Jamie opened his eyes, the giants hand smacked Jamie and sent him skittering 30 feet away. 

    "Ya peice of frozen sludge how dare you!!" I shouted. The giant roared and came at me. THen I realized I had no weapons. WATER! I needed water. I willed the water from the creek to slap at the giant. It did but it was weak and it turned to ice right after touching the giant. He did startle though. That gave me one second to use all my willpower and use the ice to push him into the creek. Just then Rachel ran out of the tent looking stunned. 

    "Celestine!" she yelled "Delilah is the- MY GOODNESS, WHAT HAPPENED!" she screamed. The giant was getting up again. I breathed in deeply, using my water power was not easy. I will some water to form into a ice spear.

    "Take this," I said, then I collapsed. I honestly still can not imagine what happened, but I will try to explain. When I got up Rachel still looked shocked.

    "Oh, hi." I said "How did you defeat the-?" I was cut off.

    "Called on the stars wisdom, they gave me fire. Sorry the ice spear didn't help. He seemed scared but it was Delilah who saved us she-"

    "Wait!" I screeched. "How is Jamie!?" Rachel seemed frustrated.

    "Just listen!" she said. I was stunned. "Jamie healed himself or something. Do NOT interupt me this time. Delilah is a Shapshifter." 

    "W-what!" I said. "D-Deli-lilah, a Shapeshifter???" Rachel shook her head.

I knew that the Shapeshifter that was supposed to gaurd the royale palace had died 13 years ago. It made sense Delilah was the next protector! "How did she?"

    "She turned into a firefox," said Rachel "then she attacked the giant. It ran away." That little girl. The protecter of the palace. I still was stunned. I got up and saw Jamie and Delilah testing out her new power. 

    "Rachel!" I said "We gotta get movin'. I want to be in Icelanctia TODAY!" 

    "Delilah, Jamie lets get goin'!!" Jamie and Delilah ran toward us. As we walked Jamie tried calling on bigger animals. The biggest animal he could call on was a small deer. Delilah flew beside us as a bird. She did not seem to be able to transform into anything bigger than that.

    As we walked it got colder and colder. Soon hail was blowing into our faces. Rachel pulled thick coats from the small bag and handed it to us. Still it was cold. Then I had an idea, there was water inside of the ice. I tried to make the ice stay out of our faces. Though it worked I was soon exausted and had to stop. Delilah had to start walking because the wind was to harsh for her. Even though it was harsh we powered through, until the ice cracked.

    "AHHHH!" yelled Delilah "Help, the ice cra-glub glub."

    "Delilah?" answered Jamie in a worried voice "What happ-GAH-glub glub." Rachel walked forward.

    "NO, stop!" I said "The ice cracked and the've fallen through!" Rachel stopped. How would we save them, Then something shot out and grabbed Rachel. It had light blue skin-no wait scales! And looked like a serpent. I had to save them, I dove. The water was freezing. Then I kept my friends in mind and willed the water to make a circle around me.

    It did and I breathed in the air. Wait my friends did NOT have air. I had to be super fast hopefully Delilah had turned into a fish or something, but Jamie and Rachel.... Then I saw a small coat floating in the water, it was Delilah's she had transformed, or the serpent could have eaten her. NO I told myself firmly, she had transformed. I swam on. After about a minute I saw a cave. It was huge. Maybe it was the serpents cave. I swam closer. Then I sensed something behind me. I turned and there was a pair of huge yellow eyes. I cried out as it grabbed me. I did a somersault and I lost my focus on the air bubbled. I sucked in a gulp of water. I could not breathe, then everything went black.

Chapter Three

        I woke up and a rancid smell filled my nose. Like rotten food and eggs. I refocused my eyes. The place I was in was dark and I wasn't underwater. No one was around, just me. Where was that serpent? Then I heard voices.

    "Massster I found the herossss." said a voice.

    "Not the best place to keep them," said voice two "pfft, I miss the skies."

    "But masssster, do you not ssssee? Without the herossss ssssaving them the Moonlight Wolvessss will not be able to resssssissssst much longer. In 5 days your dark power will overcome them. They will be your army!"

    "Fool, of course I know that. Great job, is that what you wanted, praise? HA! Then you got it, now kill them! I shall be going now." The room seemed to fill with suffocatting darkness then it was gone

    Everything I had just heard swam in my head. Who was that evil dude and how did he control a 100 foot serpent. 

    "Dumb, thatsssss what it isss 'Great job what-ever, who caresssss you captured the great herosssssss.' he ssaysssss. I'll show him. I will cook the herosssssss for dinner. Cursssessssss that shapeshifter got away. It doesssssn't matter though." it was the serpent! I quickly squinted so that it looked as if I was asleep. "A sssseal she wasssss." A lasso like tail snatched me up and I was carried away. The serpent walked down a long passage muttering to himself then stopped. "Ah there'ssss the little hero."

    "Hey you slimy fish!" said- was that Rachel!? "Where are my friends?"

    "Ssssilece!" I was whipped through the air and I caught sight of Rachel. The tail several points, one of them pricked Rachel and she was stiff as a board, it had paralized her. I wanted to do something but this was the best strategy. The serpent clutched Rachel in his claw and walked on.

    Finally we came to a dim room lit only by a bonfire in the center. There was a single cage in the back of the room. Inside Jamie already sat glaring at the serpent. The serpent dropped me and Rachel inside Inspite of myself I said

    "Ow!" busted, I thought. The Serpent smiled.

    "Sssso you finally woke up." it said "I am the gaurd to Icelantia. I am BOB!" I stifled down a laugh. His name was Bob? The serpent-well Bob glared. "Don't laugh." He said "It is a great name now who should I burn firsssssst? Duck, duck, duck-" 

    "Goose!" I yelled. Jamie and Rachel got the cue too. I used all my strength and made a funnel of water. Jamie scrunched up his face in concentration and swarm of piranas swam inside the water funnel. Rachel silently called on the stars wisdom and arrows and a bow landed inside of the cage. I had NO idea what to do with them so I just tried to make Ice Spears. But the piranas teeth and my Ice Spears just clanged of Bob's scales.

    Rachel's eyes got wide "Mmmm- can't mmm paral-mm Mmm-mm's" The paralizing sting was wearing of now. She jerked her head awkwardly toward the arrows then lifted her hand. But I didn't understand nothing had effect on Bob's scales. And I was soooo tired. Jamie was too. The piranas swam away and my water funnel fell to the ground. I picked up the arrows and tried to shoot one but Bob swung his tail and I was paralized.

    "Foolsssss!" he said "Just let me burn you guyssss, then masssster shall finally underssssstand!" Rachel stood up shakily whispering something in Jamies ear but he collapsed in exaustion. Rachel was alone. "I am hissss mosssssst faithful sssssservant and I shall-"

    "Eat DUNG!" I struggled to see since I was paralized. I glimsed Delilah turning into a ram and Bob's stunned face before I flipped over and all I could see was the cold rock floor.

    "You have to be kidding-Gaahhhhh!" shouted Bob.

    Rachel later told me what happened since all I could see was the floor but I think I pretty much know what happened. Delilah rammed into Bob's side knocking the wind out of  him. Rachel picked up the bow and arrow. Bob got back up. Delilah changed into human form.

    "NOW!" she yelled and quickly changed back into a ram. She charged at Bob hitting his side again. Rachel notched an arrow. Bob roared in pain. Then -Zing-Rachel let the arrow fly. It flew straight into Bob's mouth and sprouted out of his back. He groaned, swaying from side to side.

    "Foiled, again...." he said then he fell onto the ground with a resounding BOOM! Delilah turned back into human form and sat down.

    "How did I...." said Delilah "I was only able to turn into a fish and a bird, but a ram...." I was starting to regain feeling and I slowly sat up.

    "I don't know," said Rachel "but I do know that I can not open this cage and that the stars can't help."

    "Well," I said "I'm stiff, oh! Look Jamie's awake." Jamie sat up.

    "Oh sorry I fainted." he said "That was exhausting." me and Delilah nodded. I understood using our magical powers just sapped our energy. But, since I had been paralized I was sort of rested maybe.......

    "I can make an ice key!" I suggested. 

    "yeah" said Delilah. Some water swirled into the room and formed into a shape of a key. Delilah took it and slid it into the lock. The door swung open and we walked out. We decided to sleep and have some food before we set off. Miraculasly Rachel still had the bag in her coat pocket. We ate and fell asleep, what a day that had been.

Chapter Four

    The next day I woke up first. Everyone else was sound asleep. I looked through the food. We only had enough for 5 days at most. I took out some muffins and packed everything I could up. After I shook everyone awake. After many complaits, lots of packing, people eating, and people showering in a small room where water trickled from a hole in the ceiling we finally started toward the entrance. A bubble thingy kept the water out and the air in.

    "Cool," said Rachel "So I'll go with Celestine and Delilah you think Celestine could make a air bubble for Jamie and you can turn into a seal and help him across." Delilah contimplated this.

    "Probably I could turn into a seal," she said "but only for about maybe 10 minutes at the most."

    "Oh that's plenty enough time!" said Jamie "We'll go first and you guys follow." We all agreed. Delilah went through the bubble and turned into a seal. Jamie sucked in a breath of air than jumped in after. He shivered but seemed fine. I willed the water to part for him. And they started swimming to the surface. Rachel jumped in after as I was putting an air bubble around her the bubble popped. Silence.

    "Hold your-gahhh!" I screamed as the water rushed into the cave sweeping us into it. Rachel swept past me spitting water into her air bubble. If I lost my concentration it would pop too. Then of course I swallowed a giant gulp of water. I concentrated on making me an air bubble. I just succeded before gulpping in more see water. I coughed and spit. I used the strong current to grab Rachel. She looked at me. I mouthed "I am too tired. Can't fight it." She nodded and mouthed "Ancestors of the stars help us." Suddenly a strong current sent us spinning through the water to the surface.

    We landed hard on the ice next to Delilah and a spitting coughing Jamie.

    "What happened to you two!?" Delilah screeched. 

    "Sheesh Delilah," said Rachel "We just almost drowned and I am wet and freezing!" Jamie spluttered.

    "We almost drowned." said Jamie "We were halfway to the surface. Then it felt like there was a whirlpool and we were almost sucked back downward. Then my air bubble popped. THEN I ALMOST BLACKED OUT. But thankfully Delilah is a very good swimmer and got me to the surface."

    "Sorry," I said "It was because the bubble to the cave popped."

    "Okay, okay." said Rachel "Lets all dry of and keep going because over there looks like a the wall inclosing the city of Icelanctia." I looked up and up and up at the tallest wall ever. 

    "Wow..." I said. Rachel nodded.

    "Wow is right!" said Rachel "Now come on we have to hurry up and save Thunder." Oh gosh I had forgotton what Bob had said.

    "You guys," I said as we were drying off "When we were in Bob's cave I heard him talking to 'his master' he said. They said the Moonlight Wolves would be consumed by the darkness in 5 days. It's been a day already so we only have 4 more days." Rachel stood up suddenly, grabbed everyone's stuff and started walking toward the huge Ice and stone wall. She looked back.

    "Hurry up you guys," she said "Only 4 more days!" We got up and ran after her dripping a little water. The wall had seemed close since it was soooo big but we walked all day to get to the gates. As the sun was setting. In the center of the huge wall there was a giant wooden gate and there were to gaurds in the watch towers that were making sure only specific people came in.

    "Who's down there I can't see very well you know!" said a strict womans voice. "Hurry up, I haven't got all day you know!"

    "Um well," started Rachel. She seemed a little baffled.

    "Speak up," said the voice again "Your far away and I'm quite old. 108 to be quite presise." 108 and still gaurding this wall, well gosh!

    "My name is Rachel and these are my friends, Jamie, Delilah, and Celestine!" Rachel yelled. "Hope that's loud enough." she whispered grumpily.

    "I heard that!" yelled the lady. Rachel looked like she was about to scream. But I could relate, the old lady couldnt hear us talking but heard us whispering?

    "All right," she said "Doesn't seem like you have crimanal records. But of course why do you even want to come to a freezing boring city.

    "Uh...." said Rachel, I could almost hear the gears in her head turning.

    "Touring!" said Delilah "Yeah..... I love going places and I and my uh..., my  siblings came here just to.... to.... see this...... wonderful place." She giggled nervously and put on a cute little puppy dog eyed pleading smile.

    "Okay, okay." said the old lady "I'll come down and open the gates. 

Chapter Five

    For such a big wall, the city was super small. Most of it was just a huge lake. Fish and even one huge whale swam in it. A road with 20 or some shops then a few houses on the side of them. A big wooden building by the lake said "The Frozen Hotel ($50 a night)" We headed toward there thinking we would stay for the night and decide where to next. We didn't have any other leads. Thankfully there was $200 in Rachel's bag so we booked a night there. 

    "So," I said "Where do you think they are?" Delilah and Jamie were planning battle strategys while me and Rachel contemplated the map.

    "I have N-O, NO Idea!" said Rachel. We looked at places all over the map but it was hopeless we finally decided to just sleep and try tomorrow.

    In my dream Thunder was standing next to me. "Thunder..." I said.

    "Listen Celestine," said Thunder "I have very little time to tell you a lot."

    "How?" I stuttered "Is this a dream, but where-"

    "Just listen Celestine," said Thunder, his voice was becoming very urgent "I can talk to you through your dreams because you are moonlight and can control us. I can't talk very long because the darkness is consuming me and some of the other wolves already gone crazy so just listen!" I nodded "We are in the Icelanctia catacombs. Deep beneath Icelanctia City. The entrance is-"

    "Where," I demanded "Where!" Thunder looked scared.

    "I have to go, I know you'll find it." he replied.

    "Don't go!" I shouted. But he was already gone.

    When Rachel heard about my dream she looked even more upset. I couldn't understand why though.

    "Great," she said "Just great! Where is this catacomb anyway."

    "Celestine said that Thunder said it was underneath Icelanctia." said Delilah brightly back to her cheerful little girl self. "In school we learned about the Icelanctia catacombs. They are the most dangerous place in Icelanctia and the entrance is beneath the lake. Rachel looked stunned.

    "Oh.." she said "Okay then lets pack up and get going." We packed up and checked out of the hotel. We walked down to the lake. 

    "All right," I said when we got there "Where's the entrance?" 

    "Well, I don't know!" said Jamie "But you and Delilah can go and look and do your magic thingy. Me and Rachel will just chill."

    "Okay," said Delilah "But I can only like turn into something REALLY cool like when someones in danger." She jumped up turned into a goldfish and dived. I went in after concentrating on making a huge bubble of water around me. I scoured the bottom. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

    Then 'whoosh' something swirled past me. I turned looking for what it was. All I saw was a clump of seaweed. I turned then 'Whoosh, whoosh.' I turned again and this time the seaweed lashed at me. I sucked in air just before the seaweed popped my bubble and pulled me to the floor. The seaweed wrapped and wrapped and wrapped around me. Soon I would be a completly covered. I was running out of air. I saw a fish swim past me. I didn't pay it any attention though. Instead of struggling against the seaweed I just focused on getting an air bubble around me. I succeded but the seaweed was almost to my neck. I caught a glimpse of two figures and a flash of light before the seaweed lashed around my face. I held my breath and tryed not to black out but it was hard. The seaweed tightened around my neck and then it stopped. Slowly it recoiled and went back to it's normal clumpyness. I sat up wondering what had happened. Looking down at me were Jamie, Rachel, and Delilah. Rachel and Jamie looked purple and I quickly made us a bubble of air in the water.
