It was Halloween night and all the kids in the neighborhood were out trick- or- treating but Maelei did not want to go. She was afraid of the scary things she might see that night. 

She decided to stay home and hand out candy instead.

The doorbell rang and there stood one spooky ghost.

"Trick Or Treat!"

The doorbell rang again but to Maelei's surprise there were two witches standing at the door. 

"Trick or treat!"

There was a knock at the door and the fainted sounds of "Trick or treat!" She opened the door and there stood three monsters!

Maelei was glad she did not go trick or treating after the scary scenes she had seen at her front door. Little did she know there were creepy crawlies on her floor.!

When she turned around to her surprise there were four spiders crawling by her side. 

To calm her fear she wanted something sweet, so she reached for five tasty treats!
