This is David.
David is playing with his trains at home before he has to go to the store with his mommy.
David loves going to the grocery store with mommy!

“It’s time to go, David!” His mother exclaimed.
David rushed to the car and buckled himself into his car seat faster than lightning.

“Now, David, remember that we have to wear our masks to the grocery store to keep us safe and healthy. What color mask do you want to wear today?” His mother asked.
“Orange!” David said excitedly.

David’s mom drove off to the grocery store. David was so excited.

When they got to the store, David followed his mom around but became distracted by the candy aisle.
“Stay close,” his mother said. David caught up with her. But soon, David became distracted by a cereal box that came with an extra special toy.

“Mommy, can we –” David looked up but did not see his mother.
David was lost! All around him were people wearing masks…how was he supposed to find his mother?

He looked at one woman wearing a pink mask and asked, “Mommy?” She was not his mommy.

Another woman was wearing a striped mask, but she was too short to be his mother.
