His mom, Mrs. Rabbit, has a lot of
beautiful plants some with flowers,
others that are just green, and of course
carrots.

Some smell nice, and some taste really
good, while other are just yucky.
Johnny Rabbit enjoys looking at plants
for their beautiful color, and sometimes
he eats them. Mrs. Rabbit takes pride in
her garden and she makes sure
everything in her garden is well taken
care of, she reminds Johnny Rabbit not
to eat from her garden.

But Johnny Rabbit is impatient, and he
wished he had a garden of his own. He has
an idea! He is going to start his own garden.
He knows what it takes to care for plants
from seeing his mom doing it all the time.
Johnny Rabbit Infers plants need water,
fertilizer, and soil. He has seen some plants
inside his home, so Johnny Rabbit infers
plants can grow anywhere. He decides to
use his burrow as his own private garden.
He has everything he needs. He is going to
use one of his moms potted flowers and
bring it indoors. He is excited about it.

Johnny Rabbit is placing the pot on
his desk. He wants to make sure he
does everything right so he can enjoy
his very own plant, and soon after he
can start growing his very own
carrots. He waters it every day,
sprinklers very little fertilizer. The
first two days the plant looks very
beautiful. Johnny Rabbit Infers
plant must like its new home, Its
leaves are shiny and the flower has a
sweet bubble gum smell.

On the third day his plants start to
wilt. He infers that it must need
more water and more fertilizer, so he
applies even more. By the fourth day
the plant and flower have completely
collapsed. Johnny Rabbit saddens,
wonders what happened.
