Lily is so excited to start her 3rd grade school year, Lily is looking forward to seeing her friends.

Lily is happy that she gets to wear her beautiful, beaded sweater for the first day of school, in fact this is Lily's favorite sweater.

So far Lily is loving her first day of 3rd grade, and has already made a new friend named Jules. Jules was kind enough to invite Lily to sit with her at lunch.

While at lunch Lily saved a spot at the table with her blue coat where Jules showed her. Lily then left to go grab her lunch.

When Lily was gone getting her lunch, Kennedy went over to the spot Lily saved with her coat, and Kennedy threw Lily's coat on the ground.

When Lily returned to the table with her lunch, she saw Kennedy at the table and saw her blue coat on the ground.

Lily remained calm and remembered the manners her mother taught her. Lily said to Kennedy....

"Hi, Kennedy, can you please find a seat at another table because I was saving this seat with my coat."

Kennedy was mad but still decided to find a new spot, however as she walked past Lily, she squeezed her juice box all over Lily's favorite sweater.

Lily began to feel embarrassed and started to cry, Luckily Lily's new friend Jules was in the lunchroom to help clean Lily's sweater and comfort her.
