Hi I'm @lgoRitHim. But you can just call me red. You can learn a lot about memory through examples. So what better example than a game....like Among Us

So i see you've chosen purple. Good choice.
Thanks
Effortful processing would include trying to remember the code to play a private among us game. We all know the stress of having to repeat that 6 letter code just to remember.
The code also goes into the short term memory because it wont be there very long

Hey we got here just in time to for the game to start. You already know how to play but I'll still explain. I will be showing you examples of memory throughout the game.

Ok got it!

Ooh cool. You're an impostor. You're using semantic encoding to remember that someone else is an impostor by remembering red is the color

Also you'll definitely remember the word impostor, not only because you are one but because it's written in big red bold letters rather than remembering the username of your other impostor because it's in small red letters. That's visual encoding

The controls you use to control your movement, you could think of that as automatic processing to your character. It involves basic motor skills like walking.

This map would be in your long term memory because you'll need to continuously recall it whenever you play on this map.
Ahhh! Am I dead?! Which one of you did that? Well anyways anybody who's ever played among us...when they see this photo they can practically hear the background music. But acoustic encoding would be like using music to remember something. You COULD use it to remember the code like in the last couple of slides

During this part you can think of explicit memory(gotta really think) as having to think up a lie as to where you were if you were impostor. Implicit memory(comes natural) would be someone simply telling the truth about their whereabouts as a crewmate.
