I was really excited to bake my first cake. And also really nervous. I had never baked before, what if it went wrong?? Luckily, my mother was there to help me, so while learning something new, I also enjoyed it a lot!

We started by mixing the butter and sugar until it was a pale yellow colour. This made the cake batter

Then we added the eggs to the mixer. We kept it at a low-speed setting. If the mixture started to curdle, we would add a bit of flour. We continued doing this until all 3 eggs were added. I was getting the hang of baking
