Elisa Emily Sarah Simon Jack
Grandma Ellen’s Story
Once up on a time in a place called Everglen Valley, there lived a great wizard named Aaron. But soon his thirst for power turned him evil. He started destroying everything and became unreasonable.
Elisa and Emily’s great grandma’s great grandma(let’s just call her GG)and her friends tried to stop him. Even with their combined powers, they could not defeat him. Each day he grew more powerful. GG and her friends came up with a plan. They would make a magic mirror to wipe Aaron’s memories. That way, he would forget all about magic and being evil. And their plan worked!!

Since they could not destroy the mirror, they hid it.
Then Everglen Valley was left in peace.

Emily: The chest has nothing inside. I’ve looked a hundred times.
Elisa: Why would grandma keep it safe if it doesn’t have anything inside it??
Emily: We must be missing something. Let’s check again.
(While checking the chest, Emily drops it)
Elisa: Oh no!! Emily, you broke the chest!!
Emily: But Elisa, come have a look. There’s a secret compartment inside!
Elisa: Fascinating, what do we have here?

Look, there’s a key too. Let’s call the others and check it out.
There seems to be some sort of riddle.

Hmm..I don’t have a clue.
What does it mean?

Deep in the forest, lies the answer
To the object which shows the reflection
Find the sparkling red star
And you will not be lost in war
The path will lighten up
To those who seek with pure of heart
The darkness will prevail for those
Who seek the treasure with evil of heart
Arokii Varokii imasu basu
Haku maku lasiya rasiya
Tharoo Charoo paawo naawo

Sarah: The scroll talks about some forest, which forest could it be??
Jack: I don’t know.
Simon: Let’s do a fact check.
Sarah: We have the riddle, the key, and the story that Grandma told about GG.
Emily: I think GG might be a witch, and she lived in Everglen Valley.
Elisa: Oh I remember, there’s a big forest near GG’s place. What was it called again?
Sarah: Greensdale Forest.

Jack: That might be the forest mentioned in the riddle. We could find some more clues or answers there.
Simon: Let’s visit Greensdale.
Elisa: Let’s get ready for the trip.
Jack: I’ll pack my pocket knife and flashlight, too.
Sarah : Oh silly Jack!

Here’s the cottage Grandma told us was GG’s cottage!
Let’s see whether we can find any other clues here.

I found some old photos over here. I think it’s GG and her friends.
Oh, cool!
Nothing else here, let’s head to Greensdale Forest.
With the help of the map, the friends made their way to Greensdale Forest and were in pursuit of the unknown.

I think it’s this way.

Ughh… I think we’re going in circles.
Maybe we can try again, Emily. Let’s take a left here.

I think this mission is a complete waste. I give up.

Emily: Look, there’s a hollow and some kind of carving near it.
Jack: What carving?? I don’t see anything. Quick Simon, give me your glasses, I’ll try and see with them on.
Simon: But I don’t see anything either!
Elisa: I could see it too.
Emily: Maybe because we are the descendants of GG.

Aaahhhhh!!
Oh no! Elisa’s falling into some kind of portal!

Aaaah!!!
Guys, you’re crushing me!

Are you okay, Elisa?
Yes, I’m fine. Look, this place is amazing!

I hear a waterfall. Let’s go and check it out.

Guys, there’s a statue over here! Be careful, it’s slippery!

I think I’ve seen this statue before. Oh, I remember, it was in GG’s photos!

Our friends started exploring the statue for clues because it was in GG’s old photos.

I could move the hand of the statue and it opened a key hole! Let’s check whether we could open it with the key (the one we found it in the chest).
