Aria lived with her family on Ember Island. It was a lesser-known island in the Pacific ocean. 

 The island was full of beautiful animals, like birds dogs, cats, horses, and many other animals. The most beloved were turtles. 

Green armored creatures were admired by everyone.

On a lazy Sunday afternoon, when all the adults dozed off in the sun after enjoying a heavy lunch, the kids ran off to play. 

Aria and her friends wandered a bit too far and reached the remote part of the island.

The place was so calm and quiet; unlike their neighborhood. The very clean place felt so welcoming and homely to kids that they decided to stay there for a few hours.

Time flew like sand which was filled in their hair. The kids dozed off. When they woke up it was almost dark. They hurried up and left the place. 

But they forgot something; rather, someone. They forgot to wake Aria up and left without her.

When her eyes opened she was lonely and scared on the remote island. It was too dark. It was too scary. She was frightened. A 7-year-old all on her own tried to calm down and think practically.

It was late, she knew her family would be looking for her. 

Aria started to get hungry. At some distance, she saw a big mount-like shape. Maybe it was a boat and had something to eat.

 She ran towards it and tripped she fell on the object and blacked out because she hit her head.
