Once upon a time

there lived a little girl named Belle. She studied in first grade. Her house was in a village.

She always took the longer, forest route to school. She told every one she loved the greenery and the fresh air on the way, the reason for taking the longer route.

But that was not the truth. Belle was scared to take the shorter route, because it passed by the HAUNTED HOUSE

The story of the haunted house was very famous among first graders. They said an old man died in that house because of a first grader.

The kid was bursting firecrackers near his house and accidentally lit the curtain. The old man died because of smoke.

the old man's ghost hated first graders and would them if the came near his house. It was just a story but gave Belle goosebumps and would shiver with fear.

One day Belle woke up late for school and had to take the short route to school

She somehow managed to walk with her trembling legs. She was 2m away from the haunted house, she couldn't move. Belle was scared.
