Amber is very afraid of animals.  She never felt at ease seeing one of them in the street. If she sees one, she will be very nervous as she thinks that this will run after her and bite her.

One fine morning, Amber went out of their house to play with her friends. When she arrived in the playground, she noticed that her friends are surrounded by their pets and  seem to be very happy playing with them. They are running, shouting and laughing. 

Very disappointed for being unable to play with her friends, she decided to go back to their house. 

While Amber is walking across the street, a car running very fast is approaching her side. Amber does not seem to notice the car as she is very occupied with her thoughts.

Much to her surprise, the dog hurriedly run towards her and immediately push her from her back so that she will not be hit by the raging car. 

She then realized that the dog saved her from an accident that almost caused her life. Amber is very touched on the heroic gesture of the dog. She was amazed that this small animal has the instinct to protect her from danger.

Amber went home that morning full of joy and gratitude. The experience changed her negative thoughts about animals. She found out that the dog that saved her is homeless. She decided to adopt it and named it Xavier.

Due to that incident, Amber decided to adopt more dogs. She became a responsible pet-owner. She is very hands-on. She feeds them, bathe them, groom them and ensures that they are active and healthy.

From then on, Amber's life became happier and more memorable. She had great days with her dogs. She loves them dearly. Not only that, she can now play with her friends and their dogs, too.
