Lucy and her best friend Arthur have a busy day, from brushing their teeth to painting and making a lemonade stand. They end the day with Lucy's mom giving birth to her baby sister.

Lucy dreams of becoming an astronaut and gets the opportunity to attend astronaut school. After passing, she eagerly waits for a spaceship to be built so she can go to space.
