Effie Bafalouka is an English teacher and works for 4th Primary School in Voula, Athens, Greece. The "ABC's of Animals" is her first public book, and she hopes to inspire kids around the world to further develop their love of reading and have an active role in their learning.

This is a book about animals, their habitats, their traits and the challenges they face. It's compiled of short, fun-to-read texts, written in various styles. At the end of each page, there is a direct address to young readers, in the form of a question or statement, that helps them discover more about nature but also realize things about themselves as human beings.
