I created this book as an outreach project for my college Entomology class, I hope you all enjoy! This may be a nice book for those who enjoy learning fun facts about insects! This book talks about seven orders in the class Insecta. We talk about these bugs often in society and do not realize we are talking about these seven orders. Coleoptera, Lepidotpera, Odonata, Hymenoptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, and Orthoptera have unquie characteristics that everyone who reads this book will get to learn about! I chose this project because I am a junior in college who has been afraid of insects my whole life. I initially entered this course as a requirement. I learned to build an interest in insects and their impact on society. They have alot more to do with our everyday life than some people can imagine, some save us from pest, some are the pest who destruct parts of our agriculture systems. I wish someone would have told me facts about insects sooner, so I am sharing some them with you! Hopefully this will spark an interest or keep one going ! I encourage you to listen to the accompanied audio for some flavor.
