Thank you to mum for helping me with writing and reading and making it mean something.
I love you mum and dad. I love my brother Kohbi and sister Dakoda too.

We live in the Pilbara and it has a magical 'Stairway to the Moon'. It is also home to the magical Thylacine as seen on the rocks at the Burrup Peninsula.

Where I live we have cyclone season from November to April.
Cutie Pie has lived secretly in the Pilbara hiding away from people who wouldn't understand her.
The only people who normally see her are me and Aboriginal people. They have drawn her on the rocks at the Burrup. The photo below is by Ken Mulvaney.

Cutie Pie and I have had many adventures and she has helped me when I have felt sad or needed to speak to someone.
This story is about how she is my pet, but I am her pet too.
We look after each other and you will read how she loves hot dogs.
Get ready to meet my Thylacine which I also like to draw on my arm. I call Cutie Pie, Cutie, for short.

A picture of my Thylacine on my arm and a picture of a Thylacine from the Australian Museum
I have a pet and it looks like a dingo cross tiger. You may
have seen it on the rocks at the Burrup because Aboriginal
people have drew it as rock art.
It is known as a Thylacine.
It is orange with white and black and I call it, “Cutie”. I
like its colours. Orange is one of my favourite animal
colours.
Cutie Pie and I like to go on the swings together and I’ve
taught her to go really high and do a backflip off the
swing.
Cutie Pie and I like to play hide and seek. Cutie always
hides up in the trees because she uses her sharp claws to
climb up there quickly.
When Cutie isn’t with me, I draw her onto my arm so she is
with me all the time. It feels nice using the markers on my
arms especially when I draw Cutie’s dots.
Cutie is three years old and her mum and dad live on
Kariyarra Country. She comes to see me in-between lunch
and dinner time as she is always hungry. Her favourite meal is
Hot Dogs. She normally eats 10 hot dogs every day but on
Saturday and Sundays she eats up to 40 hot dogs. She is so
full she doesn’t eat anything on Mondays.

When there’s a full moon we go and watch the ‘Stairway to
the Moon’ together. Kids want to pat Cutie and adults are
scared of her. On a full moon she eats a lot and her back
legs get even longer than they normally are.
Thylacines' back legs are normally longer their front legs. It
makes Cutie look liker her bum is up in the air doing a Yoga
pose.
