Learn about the adventures of Shelldon, an 11-year old egg who lives in Shellville and is growing up and slowly getting more and more involved with the current war.

{Monday}
Hello there new diary, my name is Shelldon McGrenade. I'm just like any other 11-year-old egg, but I'm a bit more into studying the war outbreak that started just one month ago. Although I tried making this diary in the past, 5 times that is. The reason for that is because of a typical bully, he's like any other bully really. You know, makes fun of my name all of the time, like saying 'Your name is just a corny joke', or 'I Wonder why your name is Shelldon. Probably because your so weak you could just burst into a mess of yolk'. His name is Brian Crackworth by the way.
Yeah, this is my life: annoying bullies and everything else. Anyways, here's what happened today.
"Shelldon, get up. You have school today you know." my Mom reminded. "Why can't I just not today?" I asked "No matter what you tell me, you're going to school today." Mom told me. "Fine" I said, giving up. Even though we're heading to the end of school, I really hate going to school just to get bullied.
By the way, I forgot to mention our classes: History, Combat and Professions.
I later on finally made it to school, my best friend George Yolker was waiting there. "Hey man, how you doing?" George asked. "Same old, same old." I replied. "What are you two nerds up to?" Brian asked, coming around the corner. "And the same old bully." I said sighing. "Good thing I left my diary home in case anything happens." I thought. "Anyways, I don't mean to dump you two nerds, but I got class." Brian

Brian
snickered.
We later on got to our first class, History. "Hello yet again students."
my history teacher Mrs. Alice McChickil greeted. "Today we're going to learn about the Great Shellville Revolution." She announced. "Bla, bla, bla, when'll this class be over?" Brian asked impolitely. "That's enough, Brian." Mrs. McChickil replied with anger. "Anyways, we're going to talk about the Great Shellville Revolution today." Considering the fact that I'm interested in history, I carefully paid attention and noted everything. 1 hour later, history class was over.
The next class was Combat, where they would learn how to handle guns and grenades. "Hello there again recruits!" greeted Mr. Isaac Snipershot. "Today, we are learning on how to shoot a crackshot." Then he showed all of us how to shoot a crackshot, but then of course: "Do
this do that and then have your eardrums burst from a know-it-all." Brian insulted. "What was that you little fried brain chimney jockey!?!" Mr. Snipershot furiously asked Brian. "Now run 10 laps and then take your anger out on the target!!"
Later on after class, me and George were talking in the hall, and then this. "You two think you know better than me, huh nerds!?" Brian bullied. "We'll see about that on graduation day." Brian was talking about when we all turn 12, in the summer. When we turn 12, we all choose what we're going to do for our professions. Which you knowing me, I want to be a soldier and help out Shellville with it's problems on war.
The last class today was on professions, where us students learn how to do professions, and later on choose which one. But today's profession

Mr. Snipershot
we learned was on being a salesman/marketer. They explained to us that to be a good marketer, you have to promote whatever your selling as much as possible, and that you need to have a fair price on that/those item(s). During all of that, Brian actually didn't complain or anything. Maybe he wants to become a marketer, or is just really interested.
When I finally got home, it was the usual: Mom and Dad sitting on the couch and watching the news on TV and asking how it went at school. "How did it go?" they asked. "It actually went great for once!" I replied. "Wow, was Brian finally nice?" "Of course no, but I did get to watch him run laps after him back talking to Mr. Snipershot!" I chuckled. "Great! What else happened?" My parents questioned. "Uh, we learned about history, how to shoot a crackshot and how to be a marketer/salesman."
"Nice." Mom and Dad replied.
Later on, it was dinner time, which we ate steak and corn on the cob (my favorite). And then an hour later, we went to bed.
{Tuesday}
Today was just about the same, but this time I'm not going to give you a day-in-a-life like yesterday, I'm just going to give you the hit points. Like yesterday, George was waiting there, Brian was being Brian. However, he didn't get in trouble with Mr. Snipershot today. I'm guessing he's a little embarrassed about yesterday, probably because everyone laughed at him. So Brian only bullied me a little today.
However, when I got home Mom and Dad didn't ask me what happened at school today, they just told me to get on the couch as quick as possible. I put up my backpack, and rushed over and saw the news: "BREAKING NEWS: Red team is pushing their troops toward Shellville from 200 miles away. If any are spotted, run and hide!"
"Well, we have some time. And plus, we're not going to run and hide,

we're going to fight! Who's with me?" "Not me!" "Me neither" Mom and Dad claimed. I had forgot how coward-like Shellville is, at least good chunk (even Mom and Dad fell for it). "Are you crazy son???" Dad said, looking at me like I'm crazy. "Look, I'm not going to watch my hometown burn to a crisp, I'm not going to watch people suffer. I'm going to become a solider." "Just become a marketer, a carpenter. Even a teacher!" Mom said. "Look, I'm willing to give my life just to keep everyone safe!" I realized what I had just said was something a soldier or a warrior would say.
Just then, the TV switched to a hypnosis screen, and said 'Don't become a soldier! Have your hometown fall!' "Yes, master." Mom and Dad said simultaneously. "That's it, huh?" I said, turning off the TV. "Aaahhh, what happened?" "I have a huge headache all of a sudden."
they both curiously asked. "You guys seemed to be in a hypnosis, to where you didn't want me to become a soldier!" I said summarizing. "You're lying!" They said confused"It's the truth!" I responded honestly. "Am I dreaming or something??" They asked, even more confused. "Nope." I replied. "We have to go warn the others!!"
Soon, we made it to Shellville's news headquarters. Inside there was just computers, and no people. We then went up a floor, and the same thing. Up another, a boardroom meeting room. And finally, the recording room. This is where everything is recorded. In fact, the one who was really recording the news, was a red team trooper. We knocked him out, and investigated.
We then found the button to the hypnosis screen. We didn't turn it off, we took it off to the point where you can't repair it. Just then, we pushed

HYpnotism
Button
the button to go on the news to tell everyone truth.
"I know what you're thinking right now: 'Wait, this isn't the normal reporter??' But we're here to tell you the truth on what's going on. Shelldon, tell them." My Dad explained. "What's really going on is that red team's troops are not 200 miles away, they're here! We're here right now in Shellville's news headquarters where my Mom and Dad just got hypnotized not even ten minutes ago! We came up to this floor and there was a red trooper acting as the reporter. Listen, you may be thinking that we're lying or your dreaming, but we're telling the truth! They tried to hypnotize you to the point where none of us will become soldiers! I'm guessing I'm immune or something, but do you realize that if none of us become soldiers Shellville will fall!" I explained further. "These are the McGrenades signing off." Mom said.
We then warily went home and ate dinner, and went to bed. However, Dad caught me writing this diary. "What are you writing there?" Dad asked. "My diary that I bought for 50 eggs two days ago." "Oh. Well I'm glad you're recording everything. Times are getting rough, and we're hopefully going to look back upon it someday." He replied.
{Wednesday}
New morning, new day. Got to go to school and get bullied (probably even more) by Brian. But tomorrow, is the last day of school! And then a week later I'll choose my profession as soldier!
That was this morning before school (as you might tell). Anyways, here's what happened today.
When I got to school, George was waiting there, like the usual. "Hey, saw you on the news yesterday!" said George. "Well if it isn't Sir Nerd McTV himself." Brian snickered. "Here we go again." Me and George said simultaneously, while sighing. "So nerd, you really think there's troops roaming around here, heh?" Brian bullied. "Quick! Behind the pillar!" I said. Just then, a red team trooper walked down the street.
"So you were right!" Brian whispered. "I told you!" I whispered back.
