There were two raccoons, twin brothers to
be exact. Their names were Roger and
Robert. One day, Roger and Robert decided
they wanted to go on an adventure.
"Where do you want to go?" asked Roger.
Robert replied, "Let's go for a walk in the
woods." "There are plenty of adventures
waiting for us there, I am sure!"

They started their journey. Not too far down
the path they heard a sound. It was a rustling
sound near some trees they had just passed.
"Who goes there?" asked Roger, curiously. A fox
appeared from behind one of the trees. "Hello,"
said Robert. The fox responded, "Hello."
"What are your names?" questioned the fox.
Roger and Robert told the fox their names, and
then asked, "What is your name?"

"Well, my name is Fred!" Fred wondered what
Roger and Robert were up to. He asked the two
brothers, "What are you doing walking in the
woods?" Robert smiled and answered, "Looking
for an adventure; do you want to come along?"
Fred the fox nodded his head, and they
continued walking.

Roger, Robert and Fred were telling stories
and laughing, when just beyond the creek they
hear, "Y A H O O!!!!!!!"
They stopped, looked at one another, and
continued to walk towards the creek. Again,
they heard the same sound, "Y A H O O!!!!!!!"

As they got closer, they realized "something"
was flying from branch to branch. The next
sound they heard sounded like a CRASH....
...."KABLAM!!!!!" They saw a HUGE pile of
leaves fly into the air! Roger, Robert and Fred
went running towards the pile of leaves.

Nestled in this colorful array of leaves, was a flying squirrel. He was laughing
very loud! Fred said, "Are you okay?" The squirrel answered, "YES! Did you guys
see that?" "Wasn't that AWESOME?!"
Robert and Roger just looked at each other, then the squirrel. "Just a few
minutes ago, we heard you yelling, "Yahoo!!!!" "Not too long after that, we
heard this crashing sound, and then saw all of these leaves going up into the air!"
"We are thankful that you are alright!" exclaimed Robert.
The squirrel looked up at all of them and said, "Sam the Flying Squirrel at your
service!" as he giggled loudly.
He jumped out of the leaves, then onto the ground, "Where are you guys
going?" Fred said, "We're on an adventure!" Sam replied, "Adventure?" Roger
and Robert both shouted, "Yes!" at the same time. They all started laughing! Sam
asked if he could join them, and off they went....
