I asked him “Can I take my punishment after the finals in basketball?”

 He said “Okay.”

 Then when I came to the gym everybody was there. When we played basketball we were so behind. We were no match for this team. The team we were vs. were the “Were Winners, Your Losers!” The score was 64-8, we were 8. And it was halftime. So we thought of a plan of positions. When it was time we were ready.

There was one quarter left and the score was 84-71, we were 71, there was one more quarter left. But now it was 101-89 and we were eighty nine, there was one minute left on the clock. Now it was 109-97 and we needed 13 points in 30 seconds to win the finals and get a popsicle party. Now it was 113-107, we needed 6 points to win in 5 seconds!

Steve made a three pointer from half court. But now there were three seconds left and we needed three points to win! The other team dribbled it out. And I got the ball I shot from full court and we won at the last second!!!

After the popsicle party I told Max “Max I got detention for two hours because I screamed at Lake and Patrick. You go tell our friends the mystery starts at 7 pm and meet us at our house so we can all eat dinner and go meet Martin and Chris at the dock near the shore.”

 “Okay,” Max said.

Detention Room

While I sat in detention Max went to get our friends for the mystery. After I was done with detention I met our friends and Max at our house for dinner. We had pizza from Domino’s Pizza. We each ate 3 slices but everyone except Charlie, she ate 8 slices!!!

When everyone came in their own cars I said “Guys, let's do a race for whoever reaches there first but do not go at top speed.”

 Amanda was first place straight away for a long time. But finally she took the faster way but then there was a traffic jam so all of us cut her then she was last place. Rohan was first, I was second, and Max was third. Me and Max both had a Dodge Charger Daytona.

After we came to the beach we met Martin and Chris and they said “Guys first we all have to make an invention, then we go down and look for the submarine. It is probably going to take twenty days max to finish the invention.”

 We started the plan for the invention and Rohan drew the model. It was super hard because we had to make it strong enough for the water pressure. Today we mostly drew the outline and how strong it will be.

Model

Martin said “Guys you go to sleep early because I want you here by six in the morning.”

 So we raced back and this time Anna was first, Rodick was second, and Koki was third. Straight away we went to our bedrooms and slammed the door. In the morning we woke at 4:30am and we ate fried eggs and toast. After that we drove as fast as we could. When we came to the beach Steve was already there.

Chris told us “Let’s start building the submarine.” 

When everyone came we split into groups. Rohan, Koki, Mack, and Charlie went to get the materials from the Home Depot store. Max, Amanda, Chris, and I worked on the submarine. While Martin, Steve, Rodick, and Anna worked on the screws and they did the science to see if the materials we were using could hold the water pressure. We built the base of the submarine today.

Then we all drove home in our cars. After we got home we ate dinner. After that we went to sleep at 9pm. In the morning we accidentally woke up at 6:30 am. So we did not eat breakfast. When we came we went to work on our job that Martin and Chris told us yesterday.

We worked really hard today. It was also hard to concentrate because there were a lot of people. And it was also really hot. We were sweating so some people gave us free lemonade. But then a thunderstorm came with thunder and a lot of lightning. We all knew we could get struck by lightning if we came in our car, so we buried ourselves in the sand. When the thunderstorm was over we built a few more hours and then we went home.

BOOM!

Tomorrow we will finish the controls and the wires but then it will take us two more days two finish the submarine. We ate a special dinner that was me and Max’s favorite! It was spaghetti with marinara sauce and on the side we had bread with olive oil. We watched a movie and it was very interesting. After that we went to bed. I had a dream and it was finishing the submarine.
