I’ve always liked blue

best

The stillness of the mountain stream

The calmness of the fjords

The roughness of the ocean

The calls of Zeus from the azure sky

waiting for prayers to listen

The happiness of the butterfly shining through the rainforest

The sadness of “blues”  music

The sharpness and evil of ice

while the welcoming of the lake

Blue always describes every emotion

sour to sweet

When day comes we ask ourselves

We want to give up on our dream

When times darken

When it’s out of your hand

But some are strong

 They get over it

Like its a piece of cake

But there are others

That just can’t do it

This is a night on which to pity the homeless

Begging for shiny coins

Day through night

Sunny or snowy

They always beg

Trying to find a place

Where they belong-not on busy streets

With their sorrowful faces

Nowhere to go
