Seems everyone thinks they are going to heaven
when they pass away from this mortal existence.
However, let's take a few minutes and examine what God has to say on this vital topic.

A whole lot of folks are gambling with their
eternal destiny. Be sure you're not one of them!
Meet Bill Hayes he's rich and very religious. He belongs to many benevolent organizations. He's an elder in his church, but there is a problem, he's lost.

Meet Jim Martin a nice guy and a Harvard lawyer. He doesn't smoke, drink or cuss, but you
guessed it, he's not going to heaven. We will find a common thread in these lost folks. If we are honest we will inspect ourselves to see whether we shall pass through the pearly gates at our departure.

Next, we meet Harold. He's started out as a social drinker but now, he's a full-blown alcoholic. Yes, he's also on the no go list for heaven.

JANE THOMSON
Jane is a good mother, she has three kids and works full time in the medical field. Jane is an atheist, her higher education among doctors and scientists has made her believe God doesn't exist. Foolishly, she is living in a fantasy world.
Everything about the human body reveals a creator God.

Hank is an Australian gold hunter. His god is materialism. He's an agnostic. He thinks there's
a higher power, but not a personal God. He won't make heaven with a weird belief like this!

Maria is a narcissistic hedonistic pleasure addict. She craves attention and wants to stay high on any sort of mind-altering medication. She's gambling with her sanity and her eternal soul.

Ok, we have looked at just a few examples of folks who will miss the joy of eternal life in heaven. What is the common thread that they all display? The bottom line is a willful ignorance of what God says about eternity. They're chained to a faulty view of Jesus Christ!
