It's obvious that shoddy half effort in work, or in any area of life results in less than quality outcomes.

Whole-heartedness and attention to detail certainly matter.  Divided hearts are not pleasing to the Lord.

Our world came into being by a creator God. From the smallest divisible particle, atom, or molecule, God is the designer. Every creature on its surface or in its liquid depths has received the creator's touch. The first pages of the word of God prove his existence and supreme power, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1. Now unregenerated folks won't accept this obvious truth. Understanding becomes darkened and wisdom becomes foolishness when truth is rejected. Evolution is just a theory. It will be a sad day for all those so-called great thinkers when they face 

Almighty God depending upon their shallow intellect and their rejection of absolute truth.

A doubleminded man is unstable in all his ways.

Uncertainty, confusion, and irrational actions arise from doubts about life, death and eternity. Stability and sanity are based on a final authority that is trustworthy and dependable. Without a moral compass individuals and societies gravitate downward away from purity and cleanliness. 

Adding a muddy foul putrid cup of water to a sparkling gallon of crystal water will corrupt the whole container. Without God man corrupts everything he touches.

What is the cure for this divided heart issue? Put in the simplest terms it's this; mankind needs a spiritual heart operation. This operation can only come about by the great physician himself  Jesus Christ. Without a new birth brought about by the Holy Spirit mankind will at the end of their earthly life experience tragic loss.

It's imperative to seek the Lord while we have time and opportunity. The bible puts it this way,
