LUKE 18: 16 King James Bible

Our story begins with a little girl named Brenda.
Brenda is a sweet child, 3 years of age.
She has a debilitating disease. Her doctors have told her family that she has only a short time left.
Her mom reads her bedtime stories every night.
Brenda like most kids has favorites. When mom reads, Brenda's eyes twinkle with delight. Brenda is Tom and Melody Taylor's only child. They are careful not to let Brenda detect their aching hearts and tears that seem to come out of nowhere.
Tom is a pulmonary surgeon at a local hospital.
He has discussed Brenda's case with all his colleagues and none seem to be able to help with a possible medical solution.
TTom's brother Samuel is also a doctor in Israel. He is studying every possible way to help find Brenda a solution to this perplexing
disease.
Brenda loves the teddy bear she calls "softy."
This is not the only one she has, she has a whole family of cuddly creatures!
Brenda's dad is a brilliant guy, but he is not
born again! Brenda's mom, however, is a dedicated servant of Christ! Tom's unwillingness to trust Christ is causing friction in their marriage!
Brenda is awakened and hears her dad fussing at Her mom! She pulls her big bear "Ralph" close to her as a tear trickles down her cheek.
Tom raises his voice and says, " Melody, must you
go to church every time the doors are open?"
Melody says, "yes Tom, I'm a child of God and I want to be around other Christians to enjoy their fellowship. I want to hear the word of God and have Christians to pray for us!"
The next evening Melody is reading Brenda's favorite story " The land of no more"
There's a beautiful place where Jesus lives.
It's called heaven. All those who love, and trust him, will be with him when they leave this life. The city is large, and anyone may go there if they call on Jesus to save them.
"Mama, I want to go there one day!"
"Will I?"
"Yes sweetheart, you will!"

Melody begins the story again. In heaven there won't be any pain, hurts or saying goodbye. There are no tears, hospitals, or graveyards. The streets are paved with gold!
The gates are pearl. Jesus shines bright and we will be like him. There's no fear there, only joy,
happiness and peace!
Mama, is daddy going to be with us when we see heaven?
