"Wake up! Wake up!" said Lilly, Nikki's baby sister. "Good Morning, Lilly. Where's mom?" Nikki asked, yawning. Lilly's face hardened. "Um, the thing is, I can't find her."
"WHAT?!" Nikki jumped out of bed and ran all around the house. All she could find was her mom's phone, which meant she couldn't call her. Finally, across the kitchen table, Nikki saw a round and red gem. It glistened in the sunlight. She remembered her mother telling her about these evil witches who tried to capture her mom, but failed. What if they had captured her now? "LILLY! Get the hammer NOW!" Nikki yelled, hoping to smash the gem to find something. Nikki always believed in magic, and always will. She wanted to find out where her mom was.
"Where is Mom!?"

"I don't know!"
Nikki and Lilly were both really scared. Lilly rushed to get the hammer, and Nikki smashed it. But just as she did, there was a blow of air and the gem pulled Lilly and Nikki in.
"Where are we?" Nikki said, looking around. Lilly didn't answer. She stared at the painting's all around her. "I think we're at a museum." She gazed outside. Nikki ran to the door and barged outside. "C'mon!"
As Nikki held the door for Lilly, they saw a beautiful mountain in a hill nearby. A voice in Nikki's head told her to climb the mountain. There was a tiny house on the top, with something on it. Nikki couldn't see, so she ran closer. But to see that, she had to climb the mountain. "Lilly! There's something up there! We need to climb the mountain to see it!" Nikki yelled.
"But.. I'm scared!" Lilly yelled back. Nikki sighed and pulled Lilly's arm to the mountain base. Nikki climbed first, hoping Lilly would follow her. She did. Nikki smiled and looked down. "AHHH!" It was super scary looking down. They climbed and climbed, till they reached the top. There was a very tiny house.
"Wow."
The sunlight blazed upon Nikki and Lilly. Lilly ran and knocked on the small wooden door. "Hello there, little kids." a woman wearing a witches hat and some black motioned for them to come inside. There old, creaky house was all broken and there was pieces of glass on the floor. "Don't take off your shoes. Glass!" Nikki whispered to Lilly. Lilly nodded and smiled. Nikki was not happy. How could Lilly be happy? Whatever, let's focus. "Um, we're trying to find our mom. Blond hair, blue eyes, long hair? Remind you of anything?" Nikki said, trying to get to the point. "Why, yes, I have. She climbed this mountain, hoping to find you two. Ended up in witch jail.. deserves it." The old woman cackled.
"Hey! Stop! You're mean. How dare you say that to our mother? Wait a minute. You're a witch! A bad witch! You're wearing some black, wearing a witches hat, and you're mean! Oh, wait, you have a flying broom!" Lilly yelled, pointing to a broom moving in twisty directions. "And it's night out! You've changed the time!" Nikki screamed, looking at her watch.

Nikki and Lilly tried to leave, but the witch blocked there way. "Mwah, Hahaha! Now you're mine!" the witch laughed. Something pinched Lilly in her pocket. "Nikki! I have a piece of the gem! I'll break it, and you distract the witch!" Lilly whispered. Nikki smiled at Lilly and nodded. "Hey, old witch! Gotta a knife? You can kill us with that! " Nikki lied. She really needed the knife to break the gem apart. "Ah! Good. I will get two large knives to slice both of you in half for a tasty kid pie!" the witch smiled. She ran to get the knife. "Hey, uh, could you give us one knife to break something apart? Please?" Nikki smiled nervously. The witch glared suspiciously. She handed Nikki one. "Slice the gem in half, Lilly." Nikki whispered to her little sister. Lilly did. BAM! SMASH! BOOM! CLASH! They were outside! Yes it worked!
They heard the witch slamming the door, hoping to get outside, but of course, with the gem's power, she couldn't! Yay! Along with that, it was bright again! Nikki gave Lilly a big grin and thump's up! "You did good." Nikki hugged Lilly.
