Andrew Carnegie was born in 1835, in the land of Scotland. Where he lived with his family for 13 years.



Andrew and his family eventually moved to the United States of America. Where they lived in Allegheny, Pennsylvania.
After moving to America he started to work many jobs. He worked as a messenger, a telegraph operator, and even worked on a train!

When he wasn't working, he was at the library reading. He would educate himself by reading the many books they offered.


E = mc^2
He would invest in companies while he was working, thus increasing his fourtune. He even made the first sleeping car on a U.S. train.



He grew so wealthy that he owned many companies in iron, railroad, oil, and streamers. He then created the world's biggest steel mill company, the Carnegie Steel Corporation.
