Cora's best friend: Kody

He's kind of cute.

Long ago, Cora and her best friend, Kody, were walking on the beach on a hot summer day. While walking, Cora saw a cute boy also walking along the seashore with his dad. She couldn't say hi, but Kody helped her out by calling him over. After talking for a little, they learned that his name was Liam and that he was new to the city. As weeks turned into months and months turned into years, they grew a lot closer and their friendship became something even more.  

As time went on, the love between Cora and Liam only grew stronger. They eventually got married and moved in together. They decided to start a family where Cora would soon have a boy. Liam worked as a content creator on YouTube while Cora often just took care of the house and the family.

Liam...

Liam's started to become big on YouTube. He started to spend all his time making content and making sure his fans were happy With all his time spent on YouTube, Liam had hardly any left to spend with his family. He spent long hours, day and night, in his room making content. Even when Cora went to check on him, he hardly noticed her because he was so busy. 

Cora is left alone and by herself to take care of her newborn baby because Liam was so focused on his job. With no help, Cora is often sad and mad. She even cries sometimes because she is so mad at Liam. She needs Liam to be a real dad and play his role in the family. 

 You're supposed to be able to do everything.

With so much to do, Cora is tired. She wanted to talk to Liam about it. Liam thought that Cora was stupid and that she was supposed to do everything since Liam was making all the money. 

"I can't just do everything, Liam," said Cora.

"Yes you can!" replied Liam.

Cora replied, "I need your help, Liam. I need help."

They both walked out of the room angrily, ending on a bad note. 

On Cora's visit to the Church, she told the Pastor everything. 

"It is okay. You must forgive him. Jesus says to always forgive those who have wronged you," said the Pastor ("Christianity").  

Cora replies with a sigh, "I will give him another chance."

"Forgiving does not make you forget what he has done, it just brings peace so you can move on," says the Pastor  ("Forgiveness: Letting go").

On Liam's way to his mom's house, he saw Kody, Cora's best friend. Liam told Cora about everything. 

"My traditional religion believes that one should not have a big or little want of wanting to succeed," replied Kody ("Yoruba Religion").

Liam asked confused, "What do you mean?"

"The Yoruba people thought that when you want something badly, you'll lose everything else, but if you don't want something badly enough, you'll lose that. You need to find the perfect balance," exclaimed Kody (Busque).
