She is groggy from the sleeping pills her friendly doctor prescribed her a month ago. She gets a quick shower and gets a steaming cup of coffee. As she is dressing and putting the finishing touches on her make-up she glances at the tv. Big bold red letters flash across the screen, BREAKING NEWS!
Now what? she whispers,

nuclear explosions on our east and west coast? Is there any hope for us?
Juliana begins to weep as she hears and sees the results of a nuclear attack on America. She and millions of other citizens are in total shock at the reports of devastation.
HOW COULD THIS BE? WHAT'S HAPPENING?
Juliana calls her ex-husband in Daytona Beach, to check on her daughter Kim.
Hello Joey, are you ok? Where is Kim?
Juliana, she is on the school bus, America is done for!, I don't know what to do! We should have listened to your Dad! There's no hope now!
Juliana's dad Bob is an old-fashioned fire and brimstone evangelist. Just last week he was preaching in Destin and Juliana and Joey and daughter Kim attended the service. The title of his message was " When God judges a nation." He warned that America was on the verge of serious trouble for the wickedness of its people! After the service, Joey laughed and said " I like your old dad Juliana, but he's way too fatalistic."
