Beaver has more clothing that any animal that lives near the river. He loved to try on new clothes and show off to his friends.

But… his collection kept growing and growing. The dam, his home sweet home, was getting too full with all of Beaver’s clothing.

In the dam, there were…
sweaters slipping through the sticks,
bathrobes balancing on the bark,
rain jackets ripping on the rocks,
and mismatched mittens mashed into the mud.

The dam was about to burst!!! Beaver tried his best to fix the cracks in the dam, but the damage was already done.
"Oh no!"

Bang! Boom! Bam!
Crash! Clap! Clang!

Down went the dam.
And all of Beaver’s clothing… slowly dwindling down the deep river.

"Oh no!" said Beaver, "My clothes!"
What was he going to do? He needed his clothes. They were all he had. The clothes were what made Beaver, Beaver.

So, it was decided. Beaver left his broken dam, rushing down the rambling riverbank as he looked for his clothing.
Suddenly, he spotted his pink, patterned pajama pants behind a tree.
But… when he went to pick them up, he realized there was a hoof attached to them!

Beaver looked up and saw a snout looking down at him.
“Hey!” said Beaver, “Those are my pajama pants!”

Moose looked down, admiring the pants, and frowned. He didn’t want to give the pants up.
Beaver could tell that Moose really liked the pants, so he decided he would make a deal with him.

“If you help me find the rest of my clothing, then you can keep those pink, patterned pajama pants.”
“Oh yes, of course I will!” Moose agreed. And the two started off again down the riverbank.
Eventually, along their way, out of the corner of his eye, Beaver saw his thoughtfully tailored tuxedo. His tie was balancing on the branch of a birch tree.
“My tux!” Beaver exclaimed.

"Hey! That's mine!"

Squirrel turned around.
“Is this yours?” he asked. “I saw it washed up on the left shore, so I decided to try it on to see if it fit! And guess what! It does!” Squirrel grinned with glee.

“Hm…alright, fine,” Beaver sighed. “You can keep my tuxedo if you join us and help me and Moose find the rest of my clothing that ended up in the river.”

“Oh, goodie! Let’s go find those clothes!”
So, Beaver led the way, followed by Moose and his pajama pants and Squirrel and his tux. The trio looked so stylish.

Along the way, as the three traveled closer to the opening of the river, Beaver’s ears perked up.
What’s that noise? He thought.
Beaver quickened his pace. Moose and Squirrel followed faithfully and fearlessly.

When they reached the end of the river, they saw that the water flowed into a great big pond. Beaver, Moose, and Squirrel looked at each other in awe. They had never seen such a spectacular sight.

Suddenly, a noise came from the bush behind them.
“Who’s there??” Beaver asked timidly, his two teeth chattering.
