Jerry was a normal 10 year old boy from Birmingham, Alabama. He Loved riding bikes.

One day while out riding He noticed the sky getting dark and decided to hurry home.

The Sad Jerry had made it home just in time. He watched the rain from his window, still disappointed that he couldn't ride his bike.

The next day Jerry went  to ride his bike and he noticed something wrong with his bike, so he ran in to tell his mom.

The rain yesterday was actually  acid rain and it caused your bike to rust

Acid rain is caused by a chemical reaction that begins when compounds like sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are released into the air!

I will get you a new bike but, you shouldn't leave your bike in the rain again.

when that smoke is mixed with rain it is turned into acid rain.

On the way to get a new bike, he and his mom passes by an oil plant and she tells him that's the reason for acid rain.
