Once upon a time, there were two
sisters who lived together with
their mother. They stepped into
their pink, frilly bedroom and
chose their favorite (pink) dresses
to wear.

The sisters then sat at the door, anxious to
see the face of their new stepsister, Ella. As
she and her father arrived, the sisters
smiled. Ella was the prettiest girl they had
ever seen! One sister said, "Hello!" to Ella,
but she dismissed them. The sisters then
had a bad feeling about Ella.

The group walked down to the parlor
with teacakes waiting. The sisters asked
Ella question like, "Did you hear about
the prince's ball coming up?" Ella only
scoffed and turned to look out the
window. Surprised, the two sisters quietly
returned to their rooms while Ella
remained in her spot.

The next morning, Ella never came out of
her room. This continued throughout the
week, ending with Ella sitting silently.
Ella then had a habit of watching the
cinders burn. The sisters gave Ella the
name Cinderella.

Later, the sisters were so excited about the
ball, they forgot Cinderella. They would
chatter and gossip about the event without
silly Cinderella.

Finally, the night of the ball came. They sat in
their bedroom, helping each other get into
their pink dresses and shoes. One sister pulled
a drawstring pouch out of her drawer. "What
is that?", the other asked.
The sister replied with a mischievous look
upon her face. "It is a magic love powder."
The other sister gaped as it glimmered. "May I
use some? Thanks!", she said as she used the
magic.

The sisters waltzed into the main hall where they saw
Cinderella gazing out the window. One sister asked,
"Would you like to join us at the ball?"
Cinderella slowly turned her head and exploded. "I
haven't a dress", she yelled, "Thank you, but no!", and
she fled.
