Hi! My name is Elliot, and this is my friend Drew.

Although we are both trees, we are as different as can be!

I am an Evergreen. That means I stay green all year. Even in the winter!

I never have to worry about losing all of my leaves and being naked.

Instead of leaves, I have needles and pinecones.

My needles and pinecones are very helpful. My needles store water, and my pinecones store my seeds. 

Can you guess what my favorite job is? Here is a hint: it happens in December!

Some people use me as Christmas trees! I love being decorated.

Deciduous means that my leaves change during the year. 

In the spring, I start out with little green leaves growing on my branches.
