Apathetic word definition:

 uninterested, passive, indifferent, sluggish, unmoved, stoic, stoical, unconcerned, listless, cold, cool, impassive, unresponsive, phlegmatic, unfeeling, unemotional, torpid, emotionless, insensible Many people feel apathetic about the candidates in both parties.

MOM SAID I WAS SPRINKLED IN SOME CHURCH WHEN I WAS A WEEK OLD. After all I really don't care.

Indeed, Jane is full of disdain for the things of God.

She actually believes that she will one day go to heaven when she expires. She is basing her belief on a false assumption. No action of sprinkling with water or dunking someone underwater will save them and make them born again and inheritors of heaven. The way to heaven is through Jesus Christ and him only!   He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Please help me!

The very next day Jane loses control of her beloved blue bug and crashes into a motel. A couple staying there tries to help Jane, but her head wound is life-ending. Her last words to the ambulance crew are.....tell ..the preacher ... I am wrong...I'm not ready to meet God. 

 She draws her last breath and the ambulance crew shakes their heads wondering what she is talking about.

Doctor Andrew Smith is a small-town cardiologist.

He is a brilliant guy with loads of potential but he is an atheist and an alcoholic. It all started out in college where he became a binge drinker.  His wife is a Christian and begs Andrew to get help for his drinking. Andrew is too addicted and will not listen to his wife's pleas. Andrew continually laughs and criticizes his wife's faithful church attendance. Susie his wife, ask her pastor to talk to Andrew. The preacher has no success with Andrew and tells Susie that Andrew is headed for serious trouble because of his disdain for God. The prediction is accurate.

Andrew is fired from his respected position. His drinking becomes worse.

The good doctor is bound by his addiction, like millions

of others. He lost his doctor's license and his wife and two kids. The doctor blames God who he says doesn't exist.

His unbelief is so toxic he descends into a homeless and destitute bundle of hate.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
