Once upon a time, there was a deep cozy burrow and inside lived the Bunnyhood family, Poppy and Peter. They also had three children named Mia, Ryza, and Snowdrop. The three children loved to play outside, but Snowdrop loved Winter the best.
One wintry morning, Snowdrop leaped out of the burrow and set out to find a few carrots to start the day. She saw a sign with words that said, "NO BUNNIES ALLOWED." Snowdrop couldn't read so she hopped over the gate and picked some carrots and scampered away before being seen. Afterwards, she shared a big breakfast of carrots with her four other family members. After the big feast, Snowdrop and her family quickly scampered to the Bunnyville Market.
Poppy needed food for the Christmas feast. Bunnyville is nearby but Snowdrop started to wonder, "What IS Christmas REALLY all about?"

Then Snowdrop knew she could ask Aunty Tracy, her Sunday School Teacher. Snowdrop's idea was perfect and she was planning to see her tomorrow. When it was Sunday, Christmas Eve, Snowdrop asked Aunty Tracy what exactly was Christmas. Aunty Tracy was far too busy. She talked as she worked but she didn't hear the word, "Christmas," so she talked about Easter instead! After Sunday School, the Bunnyhood Family had lunch. "Mom?, Dad?," asked Snowdrop. "What is Christmas? I know the presents and all that, but I thought it's something about Jesus," Snowdrop asked. Then her mother, Poppy, answered, "Christmas is Jesus' birthday." "I thought Jesus was never born, IMPOSSIBLE" cried Snowdrop.

Her mother looked at Snowdrop with loving eyes, "Try asking your friends, Mima, Mimmy, Cheecha, and Sylie. Maybe they can help you better understand." That very day at the park for a playdate, Snowdrop and the four friends talked it out. "Nothing makes sense," she said to herself, " I don't understand!"
Back in the burrow, Snowdrop asked Peter, her dad, about Christmas. "Christmas is the best day of the year," her dad said. "If you pay attention to the Nativity, you will see what I mean, Snowdrop." So the little kit did just as her dad said. She was only four years old so she couldn't understand.
Later that day, she went to meet her best friend, Airamina at the park. So she hippity-hopped over to the playground while she sang a song.
"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Sugar is sweet,
Like this frosty snow."
