
Adira was tidying up her room. Everything looked neat and tidy again. But now that Adira was done, she realized she hadn’t seen her lucky tiara anywhere! She searched at the places she had been lately but didn’t find it. She asked some maids, but they hadn’t seen it. Where could it be? She thought about what could’ve happened. Maybe someone stole it! She decided she would wake up at 3:00 in the
morning to see if there was any sneaky business going on.

Adira heard her alarm. She yawned and turned it off. She went into her closet . .
. . . And she saw her lucky tiara! She decided to put on her ninja clothes anyway, because she wanted to take a walk. Her boots click-clacked on the floor as she walked around her castle. Then she walked into the garden. The moon was still shining with the stars. Adira glanced at her dark purple watch. It was almost 4:00. She knew the maids were about to wake up, so she decided to go to one last place before

she went back to her chamber. She went to the Opal Fountain, so she could look at the Opal. But when she went there . . . someone was taking it! She quickly hid in the bushes. She took her rope hidden in her bag, and tied it around the person! It was a teenager. She had red hair and green eyes. She had her hands on her hips. She narrowed her eyes at Adira. ‘’You must be the Ninja everyone talks about,
Princess Adira.’’
Adira turned white with fear. As she did, she let go of the rope. The teenager tied the rope around Adira. Adira had the urge to call the guards, but that would confirm the teenager’s guess. She took a deep breath, grabbed her bag from the teenager, and found her sword.
She sliced the rope, grabbed a net out of the bag, and trapped the girl. ‘’ARGH!’’ The girl yelled. Adira opened her bag and put
on her princess clothes.
‘’I KNEW IT, YOU’RE A NINJA PRINCESS!’’ The girl yelled again.
Adira dragged the girl to the hallway in front of her chamber. The girl was yelling all types of things. Finally, Adira yelled for the guards. When the guards arrived, Adira told them that the girl tried to trap her, but Adira managed to trap the girl instead. Drexel, a large guard with a curly beard, asked Adira, ‘’ Are you well? Are you
