There were once a little boy named Dan Macast who lived in Greece. He was born in 1,500 B.C. One day he went to a convention, and the goal was to create a new thing. The prize was $100 and he wanted it. He though, "I love gods so why don't I make a religion."

    He thought, "What if I win the contest and it turns into a real religion?" He knew he was getting ahead of himself, and he should think of the first three gods. He wanted them to be the biggest. He picked death, water, and the sky. He started planning.

     The last one was death. He chose Hades for death. Poseidon was for water and Zeus was for the sky. He thought, "It would be cool if they all had a special staff." He knew Zeus should have a lightning bolt, and Hades should have a helm, which is also called a cap of invisibility. The reason he named Zeus his name was he had a grandma who drew the sky and her name was Zeud. The reason he named Hades his name was his best friend died and was named Hadester. The biggest reason he picked Poseidon for his name was his other grandma and grandpa were Olympic swimmers name Poe and Seidon. He love both of them the same so he chose Poseidon.

    Poseidon was the first one he wanted to do because Dan loves the water. He thought it would be cool if there was a water kingdom that had a cyclops, which had one eye. He wanted him to control water, so he could use it as transportation using animals. He picked for him to be able to do anything in the water. He then thought of a staff, and he picked a trident. The reason he picked that was because it represented a fisherman's hook.
