My dear friend, children cry when toys are broken.

Grown men and women cry when their lives are shattered and broken. Business failures  and loss of jobs occur every day by untold numbers. Dreams are crushed when ambitions are de-railed and promises broken. Where did all this brokenness and heartache originate?

It started back in the garden of Eden where God created man and placed him in a beautiful garden. It's excellence and beauty exceeded any man made garden  before or after. Now let's take a few moments and look into some examples of  lives entangled in brokenness. Be sure to stay to the end to see the cure for all  this unnecessary suffering.

I feel so empty and 

broken inside!  What's wrong with me?

Mary Jane Busconnie comes from a divorced home. Her mother and father's lives revolved around drugs and alcohol. They divorce after several years of fighting and arguments. Mary ends up living with her grandparents who truly do their best to give her the home she desperately needs. However, she feels a terrible void in her life because of the estrangement of her mom and dad.

                                       A cure is coming

The Lord certainly works in mysterious ways!

There is a knock on Mary Jane's door. She opens it to find two visitors from a small church down the road about 4 or 5 miles from her house. It's  pastor Bill and his son Roy Martin. "Hello mam, we're out visiting and looking for lost or sick sheep. Do you know of any one here that fits that description?  Mary is shocked at the pastor's boldness but suddenly her eyes fill with tears. Her conscious is smitten instantly. How did this elderly pastor know her heart was broken and needed a desperate repair.

Mary quickly wipes away pent up tears and invites the pastor and his son in. The pastor waste no time sharing the gospel with Mary. She quickly yields to the Holy Spirit's wooing and accepts Christ as her personal saviour!  Oh, what a joyous occasion transpires!  The pastor's son is a handsome fellow, a recent graduate of 

Bob Jones University. Soon the pastor and son say good bye and invite Mary to the Sunday services. 

She agrees and says " I wouldn't miss it for the world!" Mary closes the door and begins daydreaming of how grand it would be to have the pastor's son as a suitor. 

Little could she know at that time that  Roy Martin too was taken with Mary's demeanor and beauty.

You guessed it! Six months later to the day after Mary and Roy met they are united in matrimony. Yes indeed miracles really do happen!  Mary thought she was broken beyond repair, however, God had others plans for a wounded and lost sheep! Friend God is the master of repairing broken things and hurting sheep!
